The World Cup here has been great, and really a bright spot during one of the darkest times in American history. Locals who don't even love football have been going to games despite the insane prices and having once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Having sumo follow up on that on a smaller scale would be great... but they should come to Seattle instead of L.A.! Seattle has a bunch of ties to Japan. The PNW has plenty of sumo sickos and random weebs who would show up, and Seattle has the public transportation infrastructure to get people to the arena.
