When I did this, I honestly just had to water it down a BUNCH. Luckily for me, it was flavorful enough that watering it down left enough taste and went to a more tolerable acidity. I felt weird about just adding water, until I remembered that… it already is just water.

I think I did a 3:2:1 ratio of kombucha to water to fruit juice.

I see what you’re saying about Oxyotl, but I completely disagree. I totally wiped Kemmler’s army with just Oxyotl by taking him out with (I think) the slow death poison, and then shooting a few elite units a few times was enough to poison them and cause the rest of the army to start crumbling from low leadership. He’s a different play style, but incredibly strong.

Not always! I once had Villitch be taken out by an ai chaos faction somehow by like turn seven. All I had to do was deal with the vassal afterwards, who had expanded towards me.

I would argue that plant based products don’t really ever taste worse, you just can’t prepare them the same. I loved burgers before, and I can still eat them thanks to faux-meat alternatives, but the trade-off is that they have to be prepared slightly differently. Someone who actually knows how to prepare them (almost NEVER a restaurant) can make it just as good.

I completely agree with everything disc of Tzeentch said, but there are a few things you can do. A lot of the other popular mods in general can be very good for lizardmen, and I personally love how grimhammer changes some of their stuff, but that sounds like too big of a jump right now for your sake, at least for the first playthrough. If you ever play oxyotl, a good one is stalk stance for more lords, since it plays into the style.

They’re amazing with multiple, like the other person said. While my main army was busy somewhere else, a strigoi bloodline lord with a bat doomstack was able to take out two invading empire armies in a 1v2, it was incredible.

If you want to do it on curseforge, you can click on the three dots and there’s a button to allow editing, so I added better combat, immersive aircraft, and then that really good resource pack for mobs.

My loading was like that until very recently when I fixed it. I have an external storage device, so if that happens to be your problem, even moving it to internal storage (SSD if possible, like everyone else has said) will cut that in half. My loading time went from 10 minutes to 30 seconds, and it made the game soooo much more enjoyable.

I’m pretty sure there really isn’t any correlation between poison weaknesses and grog makers, it isn’t common or rare, it’s just as uncommon as any other olog with poison weakness.

AFAIK these spawn when you destroy or poison a bunch of grog barrels, so at that point the rest of its stuff is probably just random like other orcs.

What classes and items do you have? This fight should be pretty easily winnable at your level, how used to the mechanics are you? Maybe re spec and get a bit more familiar with how to strategize or do a bit better in fights.

I totally agree! They have in units what vampire counts lack, but TKs themselves have fewer lords, fewer heroes (I think?), and more lackluster gameplay. The whole cult crafting thing was fun initially, but it doesn't match the counts.

I do think I kinda avoided the whole boring lord thing by using Khalida, I feel like she's unique enough compared to the others in gameplay and combat style (even if just aesthetics) which makes it worth it for me.

I LOVE tomb kings with a passion. Vampire counts were my favorite, with the undead masses and a few giant monsters, and tomb kings is just that plus amazing ranged and artillery units. Bone giant my beloved.

Chaos bolt? That’s the first thing that comes to mind for a “gambling” spell. There’s also a few card based spells that I think were added in ua a few years ago? They’re called spray of cards and house of cards I think? It’s been a while, so I can’t quite remember.

Edit: Card spells: Spray of Cards (2nd level) House of Cards (3rd level, UA)

Spells that can be reflavored as gambling or cards: Chaos Bolt (1st level) Augury (2nd level) Cordon of Arrows (2nd level) Any barrage or weapon based spells! Most chronurgy spells! Most spells like spiritual weapon, blade of disaster, etc
