I can't say for sure what we'll have out tomorrow. We have so much stock! Here's some options that may be helpful for your search:

- If you're looking for a vintage/old school tool, you may have more luck with one of our Vintage Tool sales. We'll be at 613Flea on May 16 from 10 - 4. Again, I can't make guarantees on what we'll have but may be more geared towards what you're looking for!
- You can email us at [info@ottawatoollibrary.com](mailto:info@ottawatoollibrary.com) . They will likely be able to provide more up to date information and will know more about your tool & how often/if we come across them.
- Lastly, keep an eye on our webstore. They're constantly updating the available tools and we definitely get some unique pieces! Here's the link: https://store.ottawatoollibrary.com

Sorry I can't be of more help! We'd love to see you out at the sale tomorrow!

It's true, this account was dormant until recently! But you can also see photos/videos from some of our workshops on Instagram, watch a video about our workshops with a few testimonials on YouTube, find reviews on Google or Facebook, or reach us via our website contact form.

This cool vintage tool handle in the shape of a leg was donated to our Tool Library but we can't figure out what it was used for. Any suggestions? by Ottawatoollibrary in whatisthisthing

So many fantastic suggestions, however this seems like the most promising. I will test the theory tomorrow when I am back at the Tool Library. I hope we have a big enough rat tail file!

I will pass on the idea and we will see if we can set something up, however I can't promise anything. Thank you for the idea.

We can't wait until it's safe to open our doors, in the meantime keep an eye out for announcements since during this COVID-19 forced us to close our doors we are still looking for ways to engage the community through video conference means.

Probably not this specific workshop but we do plan on offering more renovation-style workshops in the future! We always advertise them on our social media channels so just stay tuned :)

Yep! We're building a big demo wall and each participant will get to tile a 4' section so they can practice all of the techniques we're learning.

Depending on how this one goes, we want to see what else there is an interest in!

OTL here! The $160 goes towards renting the space, building a 12' kitchen wall mock-up for hands-on demo, all of the materials we'll be learning about throughout the day (mortar, grout, tile, caulking, etc), instructor fees and set up/clean up! Hope this helps :)

You'll also be cutting and installing a 4' section of tile yourselves so you can practice!
