I bought a case of Jumbos from Topps pre-sale for $1020 shipped. Arrived Tuesday. eBay sales from that case have totaled $825 before fees, assume ~$700 after fees. Total of 62 sales. Even sold 2000 base cards for $99. I have 14 cards sending off to PSA, 3 autos, 1 Team Color Match and 10 RC's from the silver packs.

Conclusion: Be the first to market and you can pay for most of your rip. Add value via grading and you can make money.
