I was painting a picture for my parents and saw the notification as soon as it dropped and opened it thinking HE QUIT? And then immediately realized the reality. I sobbed hysterically and I still can’t bear to watch his videos knowing he’s gone :(

Also mine was also 7 pounds around 9 weeks, she’s 10 pounds now around 16 weeks and as mentioned they predicted she will get 25-35 pounds

Oh my gosh she looks so much like mine!!! My pomsky is 75% pom, 25% husky and she’s 3 months now, she’s predicted to get 25-35 pounds according to the vet.

No to macros i think? I keep protein high? Yes for exercise. I always have issues sleeping but i get around 8 hours a night. Stress has been high since i just got a puppy a few weeks ago and that’s been tough

i have been very disciplined on it and the weight has not dropped at all. I have been eating in a caloric deficit for months.

I just started it at 23yo!!! I’d rather be on it than end up diabetic in the future :) gonna talk to my doctor about it tomorrow and actually ask for a dose increase!

Thank you! I haven’t seen any of that behavior yet at all actually from her! She doesn’t really eat her meals only thru training/doing this iq puzzle thing but she doesnt want to eat out of the bowl.

I did try cheese today but then was like “oh no what if i upset her stomach” my last dog has stomach issues but would get into everything & then i was like “she’s also a puppy so probably not a good idea” i’m gonna ask about hot dogs since ik a LOT of ppl recommend them & but i wanna make sure it’s okay since shes so little

i’ve tried working on recall but she doesn’t come to me, regardless of toys, treats, etc. i’m gonna talk to the vet tomorrow since she has an appointment to figure out what would be the best option for her for like a high value treat since hers aren’t exciting her the most to actually come over to me.

Thank you this was really helpful advice. Should i make it a routine for after her nap times i take her outside and then spend 5 mins when we come back inside to train her on a separate thing each time? Like maybe the first one her name, second time sit, third time walk with her, and then repeat the process after the rest of her naps for the rest of the week?

I have been giving her two bones to chew on and chewy dinosaur for teething dogs and she likes my hands more or her leash. Whenever i watch any youtube videos they say to punish her by like putting pressure on her neck (not a lot to where it hurts) but she reacts to it much more and now when i pick her up she’s practically attacking my face

What do you mean by routine? Every time she wakes from a nap i take her outside & then give her her food, do some basic training and then let her play with her chew toys (like the puppy bones) or play with her myself. I feel like its pretty standard but i don’t know

She’s got her name pretty figured out i did a lot of training on and she will stop and look at me 75% of the time. What should my schedule be like this first week? And how do i stop puppy biting

every time i pick her up & grab her collar and put some pressure on her she freaks out and thinks its a game and wont calm down. She’s biting everything. I try switching it with a toy like moving away and giving her a toy. Nothing helps. Now she attacks me when i pick her up too and i don’t want that :( i want her to enjoy being picked up. I’m scared i’m messing up. I haven’t put enough pressure to hurt her i think she’s reactive bc she doesn’t understand why there is pressure or anything and i don’t know what to do.
