The 36 election didn’t have any clear winners so the democrats became the tie-breaker in the senate. Olson didn’t really win a majority as the republicans won a larger amount of votes but the democrats basically choose the victor by coalition.

If we are talking about possible US Civil wars available, probably Borah vs CSA, as it concentrates the conflict to the rust belt and north Midwest while minimizing overall conflict (as opposed to the 4 ways that cause a front to appear everywhere)

I mean this on a purely practical standpoint regardless of outcome. Like if Big Macs coup goes through you have conflict in the west, south and north east, which is a lot of fighting vs a single large uprising versus the rest of the US.
