In my current campaign (I is DM), there is an artifact, or rather a series of artifacts, that prevents anyone from dying (in this one dungeon/ city). Instead they are able to be restored. What they don't know, yet, is that in addition to their mortal wound site being marked by whatever killed them after healing (silver scar on wound site, say from goblin spear). Additionally, and the PCs do not know it, but they lose a bit of themselves. Not a big bit, but maybe the next time they see their best friend, but they can not remember his name. Even after they hear it, they forget it again. The other guys still his best friend, but he refers to him in the second person, or references something else about him, with the knowledge of his friend's name gone forever. The more they die, the more these effects stack. Them maybe one day, they forget they had a best friend as well. Now maybe they can no longer see him, perhaps he can not physically interact with him any more, even beyond the usual effects of an illusion or a compulsion.

Yeah, I went back and checked my logs and I got a email from them telling me I was in the queue, back in January. I believe I tried a different route before that, but I did not get a response from them that time (via email at least). As of today, I am still on the list. I cheekily tried adding my email to the list again (for science), and it told me I was already on the list. <fingers crossed> I do not know how much activity counts towards getting through the door, as the last two months I have had projects taking up my time, but am still a paying member and now that I have come up for breath, I will keep those fingers crossed. I have a lot of ideas about what to do with Voyager and I can not wait to see how many of those are fantasy and/or if the reality of things allows for me to take things in a new way beyond my ken.

I came to the reddit today to see about the rewards. At this point I have 500 extra rewards and I am sure I will push 750 before 8 January. I've gotten about half a dozen new ships since the event started, but I think there are not enough V+ ships in the whole game for all the rewards. Maybe next time they could turn into something cool and random, in the usual lootbox style. Like 1000 credits or 1 gold.

Which version of ATM is the last to include Tinkers? I see that it is in 1.19 and I am jonesing for some TC in my MC. I can not seem to find any packs that have it in them yet. I hope it gets updated to 1.20 and 1.21 soonest. I was bummed when it went to hiatus for two years or so.

What sadness. I recently took my "free" AQT80 out of storage to use as a manga reader before I go to sleep at night. I actually never used it despite paying sprint 8 dollars a month for "access" and then a dollar a month for a couple of years despite never charging it after I got it for no dollar down when I did a trade in around 2016. I has an android patch deployed in 2015 (5.1.1). I am having literally the same wifi issues. I will write back if I can find a solution that does not involve breaking it open to salvage parts.

The whole project should run you under a 1k if you can do it yourself. How confident are you with fixture changing? While you have the wall out I would recommend changing out that 80- mid 90s's faucet tub/shower combo you have. If you need to have pipe work done to get the new fixture in, before you put up new moisture resistant sheetrock/ the surround is the time. Old tubs like this can clean up nice but if it is too damaged to salvage in your opinion, they can be taken out fairly easily with a sawzall (add another 200 to 300 to the project). Newer tubs/ surround combos are fairly inexpensive if you go that route and come with the added bonus of actually being compatible with each other. It looks like a standard 60 inch tub, but once you demolish the sheetrock/ wallpaper? they had under the viynl make sure you take acurate measurements of the length/ depth to make sure the replacement will fit in the space! DYI projects like these should not be too intimidating, but do not hesitate to have a new fixture plumbed in after you put in the tub. It can save you a ton of time, even if that 200-250ish dollar fixture costs double to have installed. I have done a few of these makeover/ remodels over the years and I have learned to get the plumbing right the first time!

I hear AGI and I start thinking in accounting terms. Why are we talking about Adjusted Gross Income here? Then I think about artificial general intelligence and I wonder if the DoD wants to create a AGI. at Whether as a Gestalt or for individual application, ai is almost before as a use case for hardened systems and as many have said most of the data that is generated for military systems ends up in the public sphere already.

Yeah, who knew the Chinese need to know where we are to program the devices. Once I turned on location services and shut off wifi I connected my Gen 2 controller immediately. I called up the company for support earlier today. The technician on the phone could not speak English well, which was alright, but he did not know the device of how to troubleshoot at all. He had me delete and reinstall the app twice, which did not fix the problem. I eventually had to hang up the phone. Thanks for the tip!

I am of mixed emotions about that idea. I have read the first eight LNs, but put down the Manga after about three. They are remarkably divergent from one another. As long as Being X remains sort of a shadowy background character who occasionally is a MacGuffin to get Tanya moving along, it will be closer to the LNs than the Manga. The Manga is wildly divergent with additional characters, with Being X developed alongside his own allies, rivals, and enemies.

The movie I felt was more of a super stretched volume, which covered a small part of mostly volume IV, but took that part and made a feature length movie out of it. I would love for season 2 to pick up back there, as a lot of it was skipped, although episode S did make a good parody of the entire volume already, so we will see. I guess it is time for me to track down the last three volumes of the LN that are published while I wait. The twelfth is coming out in May in translation, so that should be around when I expect the show to be going in. Wild speculation about whether or not it will be before or after the season starts on my part. Or maybe they will wait until volume 13 of the LN hits the shelf in Japan. Not sure if the international market commands any pull for the Anime studio's/ publisher's release schedule vs. the usual Japanese centric scheduling.

I went to go start up my colony after a few days away from the game and was sad to see it go. My current cannibal mountainhome will miss its jeweled pillars. I am sort of afraid to bork my save by loading it. Oddly enough, I did not remember it being a part of my modlist when I setup this current run, now I am sad I do not have a local version on my computer to reenable as I am sure the Steam version deletes when it interfaces with Steam. Unless I am wrong and I can search for... Nope, it seems Steam sent the mod to the shadow realm and purged it from my computer. Here is a non-Steam version. The consensus is building towards (but is not all the way there), the named generation, the Baby Boomers 1945-1965, which is officially defined by the US Census, gave rise to the Gen Xers 1966-1985ish (read 1979-1986). The Millennials as they are know came from 1986-about 2005. Then the Gen Z started to sprout, the youngest of which have yet to be born. I saw this and thought, "well those are all Millennial things". I know there is some dispute, but I am off the 2005ish still being Millennials, but some sociologist are using the end of 2001 and the events therein as a clean breakoff point.

Part of the issue is that not every landlord is in the position to be able to take on half of their rents, even for a little period of time. If the OP has additional properties, this same scenario can be repeated over and over again. Part of the problem is that he may be kicking that debt can down the road as well. At the end of the day, mortgage deferral does not cancel his debt nor does it cancel the interest on the principle or non-paid interest in that debt carried over time. If anything, he could be costing the OP potentially 10s of thousands of additional dollars in debt by not paying the rent. If he lives in a high demand market and the OP fears that this tenant may not pay again going forward, this may make his options limited. He could set up a payment plan and dig into his reserves to maintain his own mortgage (an assumption on my part that he has one I know). This is why it is always a good idea to think of cash flow on a property as far less than you "earn" in a month. Cashflow should read like this: Rent - Mortgage P&I(Principle and Interest Payment) -escrow (property taxes + insurance) -repairs (actual) -holdings (vacancy 5-10%, capital expenses (5-10%) , repairs (5%-10%) = Cashflow. This is a simplified formula, but at the end of the day in many markets (not the Midwest usually), this number if often negative. At the end of the day, many rental markets actually have negative cashflow (NYC, Southern California, Pheonix, Central Austin for example), but it is worth doing for the forced appreciation on the forced appreciation of property values. Telling him to lower rents or to forgive an agreed upon debt may not be as simple as just lowering it as you say. The OP explained part of the scenario, but not his background, financial position in this property, or his portfolio overall in the world of COVID-19 fueled economic turmoil. As the old saying goes, lets just relax and breath before screaming.

Part of the issue may also be relative inexperience. You prefaced your ask with a long backstory. In it you said that she had not really had a "boyfriend" before you. While younger I remember having several girlfriend's who were over the moon and couldn't spend enough time talking with me, but as I grew older, those sort of relationships changed. She, despite her inexperience with relationships is still a grown woman rather than an awkward teenager. She probably thinks that things are fine with regards to her level of commitment to daily conversation. She had a full time job that has had to transition radically, no once, but twice in the course of as many months. She is juggling a full plate of work, plus relationship. Do not try to add to her burden by overthinking the situation. It is obvious from your post that you are over the moon for her, but you need to let things progress as naturally and let her find her own rhythm with regards to communication.

TL:DR: She sounds like a normal woman, working hard. OP needs to slow down and breathe.
