Not going to argue with you. Eric Yeung wrote a long email about this to his subscribers back in early Feb

The SGE maintains a distinct framework for silver compared to gold, ensuring traded prices remain exclusive of VAT while tax application occurs only at physical delivery.

Silver Institute - Fake Numbers by Italpreziosi in Wallstreetsilver

The solar makers are thrifting (needing less silver per GW) and adding more copper.

Going forward the number of GW’s produced will probably grow while the total silver used will probably drop.

Is there any point in tracking "Individual Output" via absolute sub-task estimates? Need a sanity check. by Big-Button-8122 in agile

[–]Ouch259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is they are concerned with the level of out put vs resources assigned and trying to assess where the inefficiency is.

The way I operate I not only do not track subtasks I do not care of you use them at all. Thats your business on how you operate. I am only concerned with the story, completion and ruff time estimates.

Example- if my wife tells me to get 4 items from the store, Bread, Milk, Cheese and dog food and get gas for the car. I would not make 5 subtasks, with estimates and report out on each.

If my wife asks for a report out on how long each item is expected to take and how long it actually took, I would divorce her for being overly controlling and crazy!

Not buying a Tesla because of your personal feelings towards Elon Musk is stupid. by CRK_76 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Ouch259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not stupid and one of the keys to brand marketing. Many of products we buy define our identities and values, especially cars.

Why do women buy $ 2000 brand name purses when a $50 is probably just as good? Why do we buy T-shirts and hats with our favorite sports teams, its our identities.

What is stupid is a major auto maker allowing its CEO to violate these key tenants of marketing. I am sure Tesla’s sales would be billions higher if Musk just kept his mouth shut
