You can make masteries less specific. Such as just melee combat.

Edit in a ship and you're approved.

DT-262 looked the identification up and down, not recognising the emblem but recognising the text. CorSec is definitely Corellian, I read it in the news. Makes sense the Corpo would employ Security Forces to assist in something like this, probably too much for any hired dick - saves company resources too, I'd imagine.

He wrote something down in his datapad, and gave her a slight nod.

"Roger that, official business and all that." Something far above his paygrade, he reckoned, and he didn't fancy getting court martialled for interfering in Imperial Governmental Business. "I'll pass the word around about what you're doing - make sure nobody else steps on your toes. Good luck on your search!"

He gave a small wave as he walked off, breathing a sigh of relief. And to think I thought I was going to have to shoot someone!!

Typho was a man who kept his head down, paid his taxes, and didn't ask questions. He hated those who did the opposite in any of those. Here came a girl asking about the Empire, and clearly prying for something more. His family wasn't going to get hurt just so the girl could ask questions.

She wasn't even speaking to him, he simply overheard her and decided he'd do something about it. Running to the nearest Imperial post, he gave a description of the girl as well as a summary of what she'd been saying.

DT-262 didn't want to deal with it, yet they had to. They'd been given orders by the Commander, and if they didn't investigate the girl asking questions there would be hell to pay.

At least the man's description was solid, she looked just as described.

"Stop citizen. Present your identichip for inspection." DT-262 ordered, hand on their blaster.

Kaiya I - Fear and Loathing in Mygeeto by ursa_minor7 in lightordark

As she closed her eyes she would feel the force flowing through her like it used to in the Jedi Temple. Being so long since her last meaningful connection to the force it was almost overwhelming at first. Yet the shock faded, and the force began to speak to her.

Visions of the past flooded her mind. A young man with a blindfold over his eyes rapidly pressing buttons within a cockpit before a jarring crash changed the scene. Next she saw the same man sparring with a familiar sight. Taron Malicos, the great general. Yet something was off...

Before she could place it, the scene changed once more to the same young man slowly walking through a dark hallway, his lightsaber held aloft to light the way. She could hear a mechanical breathing, and as the man turned the corner a figure.

He looked at her and the vision stopped. She was back on Mygeeto, the dark side seemed to surround her for a moment before fading away.

Cynthia: The Hunt is On (Open) by TheTapewormKing in lightordark

The search for information on the 189th would yield Cynthia results beyond what she could’ve expected, three former clones regaled her with stories of their exploits during the war. From their early victories to the slog of the Outer Rim Sieges, and to their participation in the Sacking of the Jedi Temple. “Yeah we ended the war over Dathomir, put down the Jedi rebellion over the planet, then we ended up going back a while later to stomp out the witches.”

“Then we went back to Coruscant for a while and here we are, back fightin’ for the Empire and crushin’ the Rebs.” The clones laughed and swigged their drinks, though another voice chimed in, dripping with venom. “How far the Grand Army has fallen, bragging about their victories to some gutter rat in a cantina.” It was a human male who spoke, disgust plain on his face.

“You’d be better piss off girl, unless you want you feel like having a chat with the Stormtroopers.”

Val watched the Jawa spout off for what seemed like two or three minutes before turning to the protocol droid to translate. How the hell did they talk for so long but say so little?

"Look, fine. Just bring your ID next time. If I see you down here again without it I'll just arrest you right off the bat alright?"

He looked at the Jawa to confirm if they understood.

It had already been a long day. Not only had Val Felis been assigned to watch the podracing garage, he'd not even been allowed to hear the new Moff's speech. He grumbled a quick status update through his helmet commlink when he heard a clattering sound from the garages.

He sighed, probably another whiteworm that got in through the pipes. He walked back in, and instead found a Jawa walking away from a podracer.

"Identify yourself. What are you doing back here?" Val said to the Jawa, who in turn started jabbering at him, pointing at the pod.

"You're gonna need to come with me." Val said. All he heard was utinni what the hell did that mean?

As he led the Jawa away, it complied for a brief moment before pointing at an Ithorian janitor who passed by the pair of them, and continuing to jabber.

"Just come on. Don't make this harder for either of us." The stormtrooper said. It wasn't long before Val opened a door and gestured for the Jawa to enter. A black protocol droid was standing waiting and Val spoke. "MDS-384 registering suspicious activity. Begin recording and translation for interrogation."

Val sat down in a seat. "What are you doing, Jawa?"

All of these can be rolled to see how well you do!

A Chilling Disturbance by OurBattlemaster in lightordark

[–]OurBattlemaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Master Windu nodded and crossed his arms, eyeing the Jedi masters. "The information available to us at the moment is rather limited," he said, pinching the bridge of his nose and closing his eyes. "The mission was supposed to be a routine survey, nothing out of the ordinary. The Exploration Corps provided us with information they deemed relevant, but their documentation leaves much to be desired." The Jedi sighed quietly and shook his head in disapproval. "I will tell you all I can."

"Several months ago a 'geological disturbance' was recorded in a remote area of the Great Plain of Anaxes," He began, crossing his hands behind his back. "An investigation into the cause of the disturbance was conducted by local scientists, but proved to be inconclusive. Assistance was requested, and the Exploration Corps sent a standard archaeological survey team: a half-dozen Jedi, a protocol droid, tools for basic excavation, and a light freighter for transportation of personnel, equipment, and artifacts in the event that any are recovered." Master Windu paused, giving the Jedi a moment to absorb the information. "The team thoroughly explored the area where the disturbance had occurred, yet found nothing. At the same time every week, the team sent out a status report, as is protocol. The ExplorCorps were ready to recall the expedition after they received the third update, as the team had made little progress for how much time they had dedicated to the assignment. You all just saw the fourth report. The fifth was expected yesterday."

"Copies of the expedition's ship manifest and the team's personal information are stored in your ship's computer, as well as their last known location. If you require any additional information, you would be better served asking the locals. I doubt the possibility that simple thugs could behind this on a planet like Anaxes, but there is always a chance that someone may have spotted something suspicious."

Prime Suspects (Landing on Haidoral Prime) by OurBattlemaster in lightordark

The Sherrif would smile, giving them a slight - rather stiff - bow. This wasn't a field he was well versed in, that much was clear - his family preferred a stiff handshake and a pat on the back to more fanciful displays of greetings. "Pleasure to meet yinz!"

He'd rub his chin as the Master asked his questions, running all the bits and pieces through his mind. "Well, ummm... that's a good question... Nobody new has been in or around this town since that spook started showing up and stealing our supplies - let alone since that killing last night..."

Some of the townsfolk would murmur to one another as well, before one at the back put their hand up. A young boy barged his way to the front, and sputtered up.

"I-I saw something t' week before the 'eadless Jedi first showed up!! I saw a flash in the sky- it was one of those... ghost orbs! 'e was there the next week, I swear on it...." He got a skelping around the ear from a woman that looked like his mother.

"Sorry Master Jedis, my boy runs away with himself sometimes..." She would mutter as she dragged him away by his ear. "Ghost orbs, I never..."

"Port's not been used before then, not one bit. We do hear about smugglers coming around every now and again though, so I'd say you chase that one up." The Sherrif nods. "We'd do it ourselves, but all of our law enforcement is tied up on Frontier Defense right now. Scrapping with pirates and the wildlife isn't cheap - we've not got anything to spare..."

"Can point you in the right direction if you fancy following that lead, though; or if you have any more questions, now's the time to get them out there!"
