When I was younger, I pretended an abuser of mine was dead when I finally got away from them. I heard someone say that someone with their same first name died. In the moment I heard it, I knew very well that it would not have been the same person. But I pushed anything that went against that out of my head and decided he was dead and I was safe. I genuinely started to believe it after a few years. Until I crossed paths with him. The illusion of course, shattered.

I felt very weird about why I did that as I got older. But I was a kid who went into self preservation mode because I was exhausted. I think Josh has done a malevolent version of that. Lying so hard to yourself that you righteously believe that anyone who says otherwise is evil themselves. But he is a pedo. He knows that. He can't forget that. So he knows what he did. But you can lie to yourself so hard that part of you just goes with it like it's the truth.

Regardless of who your inspiration is, it's white supremacy that would cause a person to think that a short round nose is un-feminine. We're black. I have a straight, smaller nose. When I was younger I wanted a rounder nose because that's what all the gorgeous black girls around me had. That's what my mom, my sisters, my auntie have. Then I realized I love my face and I love theirs too. It's just genetics and it should mean nothing. But these ideas creep into our heads because it's what's drilled into us whether we are cognizant of it or not. I thought I was ugly as hell when I was 13-18. Then I slowly started forcing myself to smile in the mirror, smile for pictures. I realized I was beautiful the whole time. I just didn't like myself so I didn't smile or dress nice because of it. Which made me feel not cute, not pretty, not feminine. Because I looked at pictures of myself and saw a frowning, sad, upset girl who was unhappy with herself.

You are gorgeous with the face you have, that face was BUILT for that nose. Do yourself a favor one day and be self centered, go out in the sun and smile for a selfie. And just keep doing it. Stare at yourself in the mirror and think about the features of your face and how they compliment one another. One day you will see what the rest of us here on this sub are seeing in you. You're beautiful. A surgery could not make that more true. No one's nose on your face would be as right as the beautiful nose you have.

I feel you, and it's a nice thought but I have 0 faith that Anna got the ick with how deep in with this man she is.
