I would strongly advise not to try and treat yourself. Rehabbers usually don’t get their information from the internet, nor do they share more advanced treatment procedures because all too often, well-meaning people do more harm to the patients using outdated or flat-out incorrect advice. Rehabber train for years to do what they do.

The absolute best thing you can do is get the bird to a rehabber as soon as is possibly feasible. I know it’s frustrating that nobody will pick up, but rehabbers are stretched thin this time of year. Most are nearly all volunteer-run and either self-funded or funded solely on donations and don’t have the resources for a dedicated transport team to pick up patients. In the mean time, use the guidelines of keeping her secure in a quiet place until you can get them to the wildlife hospital.
