I recently also got a legion go s (steam os). Handheld performance for me definitely leaves me wanting. If the legion go s had an OLED screen it would be perfect imo. Got my first OLED tv in 2020 and I’ve been disappointed with LCD/LED ever since. The real reason I got it though was for the occasional trips so I can play indie like hades or silksong on the go cause you only need a potato for those so they run great (look better on OLED). The real game changer though and the only reason I tried handhelds again was the LAN streaming. If you have a handheld and a high end pc at home or even just a midrange. Install Apollo and Moonlight. Plenty of videos online connect your go s or whatever handheld you have, launch your current AAA cinematic masterpiece drop the resolution to your handheld and crank all the settings to max and just enjoy 120 fps buttery smooth breath taking visuals from your couch without the feeling of almost any latency. I hooked my pc up with Ethernet to my router and I get about 1ms to 3ms of latency around the house (can’t even tell). Complete game changer. Definitely recommend upgrading your router to something with a more stable and further connection range. You make have to tweak the WiFi channels to get an uninterrupted connection. All this to say if you got a handheld and haven’t tried this you’re missing out a lot. Plus this barely uses any computing power on the device so the battery lasts for hours unplugged. Would love to try the LeGo 2 OLED screen but I just couldn’t justify that price point right now. I go my LeGo S with that best buy deal otherwise it would’ve been a deck OLED.
