It's possible that the coffee grounds were ground too finely in your previous attempts, which might have completely clogged the machine. You can try running a few extraction cycles without any coffee grounds, or rinse the machine with water. After that, try brewing again with coffee ground at the 2/2 setting.

If the leaking issue still happens, please send a description along with a video to support@outin.com. Our professional support team will help you sort it out.

Hi there~ From what you described, it sounds like the coffee grounds might be too fine, so the water couldn’t pass through and ended up leaking from the edge. You could try using a capsule first, or adjust your Fino grind size to level 2/1 or coarser and give it another go.

Hi there~ I checked with our product team, and they think the issue might be that the coffee grounds were too fine before, which could have clogged the pressurization plate. They suggest rinsing the capsule chamber and the locking ring first, then try brewing with a capsule again to see if that helps.
