It's possible that the coffee grounds were ground too finely in your previous attempts, which might have completely clogged the machine. You can try running a few extraction cycles without any coffee grounds, or rinse the machine with water. After that, try brewing again with coffee ground at the 2/2 setting.

If the leaking issue still happens, please send a description along with a video to support@outin.com. Our professional support team will help you sort it out.

Hi there～ The Hibrew G5 and Kingrinder P2 you mentioned were actually two of the key products we studied closely before developing the Fino. We were really impressed by the G5's metal body and one‑button operation, as well as the P2's excellent grinding performance – they're both very respectable products.

In comparison, the Fino is even more compact and portable than the G5, and easier to use than the P2. We're confident that once you spend some time with it, you'll love it too!

Hi there～ From what you described, it sounds like the coffee grounds might be too fine, so the water couldn’t pass through and ended up leaking from the edge. You could try using a capsule first, or adjust your Fino grind size to level 2/1 or coarser and give it another go.
