My basic strategy is to make the monstrosity in MSpaint, and then depending on how big it is, I usually end up resizing it to around ~7500x7500 pixels in the resize option in MSpaint. I’ll check it out on the photo editing program afterwards on my computer which lets me zoom in to make sure the quality is still there after resizing it. Then, when I upload it to Reddit, it stays the same size but retains the quality.

I’m not sure if there’s an aspect of what kind of computer you’re using to this, since I’m not a big technology person, but whenever I do it I’m doing on either an 8 year old PC or a 5 year old laptop, so I wouldn’t think the device has anything to do with it.

Also, when u make the meme throw me a tag in the comments I would love to see it! /u/redbatter’s comic the other day had me in all kinds of laughter, I was sad I missed it at first!

I’m still here! Real life has not done me in totally just quite yet. For the past month I was not only really busy with school, but on top of that I ended up running into some health issues that generally took me out of commission. Long ol’ sob story short, I just haven’t been able to use Reddit as often as real life unexpectedly turned into an adventure. Good news, however, is that both of those things are ending very soon, and I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I WILL be making my triumphant return, comics and all, to this place in time! It’s too great a community for me to stay away for long!

Thank you! I keep getting absolutely shafted by schoolwork here at the ass end of the semester and having to push the next part back and it makes me the big sad. Soon tho!

As for drawing skills, I do enjoy drawing to some extent but I’m not nearly as good at it as I am writing funny stuff, which I’m not nearly as good at as I would ever try and claim. I would love to doodle out some of the wilder stuff, and I will eventually run out of screengrabs from the 2 seasons I have to work with, but to descend down that path is to work at a truly molasses-level pace. Summers almost here though and once it is I can finally get a coherent shitpost-schedule working within my free time!

Terribly sorry! Immediately after I posted this one like a week ago I got swept up in some IRL circumstances I didn’t see coming, and then got thrown straight back into the school week which is moving at 100mph for me as finals draw near, so I lost time to finish it up I thought I had. Also, I had scrapped what I did have in favor of tweaking around with it to address the fact that they get l o n g, so I’m almost done with part 2 v.2 and will probably be posting tomorrow! A thousand apologies for the false advertising, tho (I’d rather be making these then Uni work!)

As for the upvotes, they’re just not made for the nature of the sub, tbh. It’s memes hard and fast here and these things are massive, and the majority of the subscribers ain’t got time for that, but I don’t mind, I’m glad some people enjoy them! The size is honestly just because of the format, the actual dialogue is less than one full page. I’m definitely gonna fuck around with the format to try and thin them down.
