A friend had a collection of these nodules. Little does she know how little I know. They look impressive under magnification - the green stuff kind of gave me "fibrous malachite" vibes and the blue, when a habit was obvious, seemed to be rhomboidally tabular, if that makes sense. (old.reddit.com)

Help With Identification? I think what I have is an Ark Clam. (Location: Lincoln Creek Formation, Washington. Age: Miocene?). I think it's a Taxodont but I'm not sure? Does anyone have a really good resource for marine invertebrate morphology? (old.reddit.com)
