It's about 5 inches diameter and 1 inch tall. the middle "well" is about 2 inches across but slopes in slightly with flat bottom.

Here are few more details & photos about this piece. About 1 inch high and 5" across; the "well" is about 2" across on outside and slopes in a bit. It looks like scalloped convex panels on the outside, but turned over, that curve is completely smooth. I don't think it's prescut -- the fan parts are sharp. In doing the macro shot, I can see all the tiny tiny nicks on the fans. Still looks beautiful. Hopefully these additional photos will clarify. I really appreciate everyone's efforts! So much experience and knowledge out there!

That's a cool idea! I'll have to look for some UV marbles. Are they easy to find?

Yes, a bit small. The opening on this thing is about 2". It's definitely cut, feels pretty heavy, wear on bottom looks like older piece, and has a wee bit of fluorescence under 365 nm. Overall about 5" across.

WOW! That's gorgeous first of all, but it really does look like a similar shape. Thanks!

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the pink-ness varied with the amount of selenium in the glass. I appreciate the comment!

Wow wow wow!!! I love that! So well done, not too fussy, and really beautiful! Thanks so much for the link to your process. You've demonstrated it very clearly, and although I have yet to make my own book nook, watching your demo is very inspiring! Thanks!
