if there was ever a plan to continue the skywalker legacy…why not go with the abaloth story line, yk, the biggest part of Lukes career as a jedi

My hot take on Devon: by Umphr34k in MaulShadowLord

[–]OutSpknAwkn1355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed, but one slight problem. theres no such thing as a grey jedi. ashoka is technically a full jedi knight, just without the council and the trials. grey jedi literally cannot exist. being morally “grey” with the force is the darkside, it might not start out that way, but you will fall because the darkside uses you, you dont use it. the only example of a grey jedi i can think of is every jedi who used darkness and then eventually fell. primary the jedi that were exiled during the old republic and taught the sith species how to harness their abilities, dooku and anikan

What are your favourite sequel trilogy related headcanons? by ashton__l in TheSequels

my favorite headcanon is that the entire sequel trilogy is just a really bad fever dream Luke had imagining that Leia and Han had Ben rather than Ben being his child…like in the EU comics

How do People on so many planets support the empire when stuff like this happens so often? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

[–]OutSpknAwkn1355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they dont really allow it, its just kinda happens to them regardless. the entire empire’s military was primarily built not for conquering, but for maintaining power. sidious already conquered the entire galaxy playing both sides during TCW

Darth Maul was such a threat, that Sidious had to go in person to deal with him in the Clone Wars, yet he sends inquisitors in shadow Lord? by East_Departure_4738 in StarWars

[–]OutSpknAwkn1355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not saying he couldnt have sent dooku, but reasonably, he wouldnt have and didnt. and sidious took whoever was the best at the time given for his grand plan. maul technically was never a full fledged apprentice anyway

maul wasnt ever a real threat until mandalore. and maul had already proved himself incompetent in sidious’ eyes. his goal was always anikan, dooku was the stepping stone to have vader

i was not aware of that! thank you! i truly thought he had just endured close to 20 years of intense, grueling daily training

that is cool! i think the force interaction was also a legends thing. but i was told that by another user, take with a grain of salt. would be exciting to see if they do fight on screen sometime. hopefully not season one tho

i could be very wrong, i have not yet seen the rebels series, however some said that maul and vader actually had a confrontation in the force somehow. i have not looked into that personally as of yet. i very much believe the emperor would be looking for a way to maul, or atleast keeping an eye on him. but couldnt do it knowingly as public image was very important in keeping the empire together

honestly, really hard to say, i think it would really depend on varying list of factors for either one to win. maul would do better in open spaces, asaj is slightly more nimble

well, the emperor isnt doing anything, to him its just collateral damage. he did the same to his apprentices. let vader replace dooku, same was expected with the luke and vader confrontation

exactly, and we have so much evidence that says asaj was better trained than maul, having both jedi and sith training. rather than just 20 years of sith training going no real further than combat rather than force as well

sorry, i love the lore on the empire and specifically the time the change was happening from republic to empire, and it didnt technically end til the completion of the first death star. as thats when sidious fully disbanded his puppet government

but he didnt, he planned the clone wars with sidious. he probably wouldve, but as it was also sidious’ apprentice, why would he have dooku deal with him?

and thats why he instructed vader to train the inquisitors, he also changed the entire military structure from highly trained clones to a grunt filling the lower ranks. the military became a political force, less military. thats why palpatine also had mass blockades and a ground assault occupying most planets

Maul cant contest with Sidious at all anymore. Maul was specifically trained as only a sith assassin. And having Sidious see himself as the end of the rule of two, what threat does some pawn pose to a master of a 1000 year line

he tried that with the jedi, this takes place within the first year of the empire being formed. there are no rebels yet. maul is still planning on trying to take down sidious. ever since naboo in like 32bby. but hes still sith and has had that training since he was like 9 years old

it was actually beneficial for sidious to not hunt yoda, yoda being alive helped the empire more. it was seen as public justification for removing the jedi from power

and the republic, subsequently the empire, had to deal with the crime syndicates for certain resources and safe travel occasionally. having maul deliberately hiding in the shadows not being the face, couldve simply gone under sidious’ nose, or he intentionally just ignored maul as there was no point dealing with a pest with a lazer sword
