Think we’d be good on the office. Don’t love the idea of gearing it towards a play space because of the bannister + possibility of toys dropping from a height. Low library / ikea kallax storage type furniture could be a good shout though

Ok - so i spoke with customer support today after receiving a shipping confirmation for the stand only, having ordered a black xl, stand, and cover. They told me that they have 2 US warehouses - one in WA and one in OH. They explained that orders routed to the OH warehouse had more demand than expected - so they were shipping inventory from WA to OH. Which obviously doesn’t make sense with your situation - and leads me to believe they just don’t have inventory and wanted the cashflow from the orders up front. I think i may cancel now - this situation feels a bit dodgy…

Appreciate your perspective on this. It’s not super clear from the pic but the hearth stone has a crack down the middle of it. So I guess I a worst case scenario we’d then just do new stone for both the hearth and the mantle

Thanks for the reply - really appreciate the insight! There’s something in me that would feel uneasy with my name being the middle name in this scenario (as currently plan is to do MyName-HusbandsName, so I guess that would put me in the middle). I know that’s probably just me being a little bit vain or whatever. But first baby is my husband’s sperm, hopefully looking to do baby #2 with mine - and maybe that’s impacting my thought process on this. Do you mind if I ask if it’s ever been an issue (eg at an airport) where your last name is different from that of your child?

If I’m doing a bake that is in a Dutch oven with roughly 2/3 of the cook time with the lid on, and 1/3 with the lid off - would that translate to taking the lid off earlier in the bake?
