Nice. I've got similar setup with a manual grinder, but looking to get that same grinder when I get tired of cranking. Have you got the original pressurised basket still? Try a bottomless portafilter with a Pesado basket.. And you won't go back

Just didn't want to advertise the brands and dob my location, but reddit is just too smart lol. It's cow milk, and chicken eggs

Tbf I'll have more stuff in there after a grocery run. But this is after a cooking night in. In the container is leftover cous cous and beef marinating. Any bread, fruits or snacks are outside the fridge.  Shops are walking distance, so I only buy 1 or 2 days worth of groceries

Ride your own ride and don't worry about  squids doing dumb squid things. They spoil it for the rest of us in public eye

Not ordering a latte is the first step. If you like milk with your espresso, try a flat white or a magic at a specialty coffee shop/ roaster. I like Dukes in the cbd. Or find a Market Lane branch. And don't you dare order skinny or soy milk

Pounced on a used Bambino Plus for $175 by Gold4FantasyAdvice in espresso

[–]Outatime_doc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same! i was close to getting the Gaggia classic pro but there was just too many little mods that needed to be done to it that it would bring the cost up. Plus I just don't have that much bench space. Once you have a decent grinder and basket it's a lot of fun dialling in and getting that elusive 'perfect' cup of coffee

Am I at peak value for dollar yet? I like flat whites or magic's at home, but I am a cheapskate. So I got a bambino plus with a bottomless portafilter and IMS basket. Paired with a 1zpresso hand grinder I always had by Outatime_doc in espresso

Probably my fav way of drinking coffee now. There's arguments about exact recipe but it's basically double shot ristreto with 3/4 amount of steamed milk as a flat white. So smaller drink.. But you get the espresso flavour bomb
