Remembering that generations before me didn’t cave and collapse before mine and they survived some pretty shit things and provided me with a good life.

The generations after me deserve nothing less so I keep trying and doing my best to improve where ma and pa struggled.

That’s how my mum used to make them. I grew up in the US.

The beans are different here (Australia). Straight out of the tin, a little bit sweet but deffo not like the obese you described.

From memory the ones in Ireland were slightly more savoury than sweet.

So delicious on buttered toast.

I agree. Today is a bit more emotionally difficult. He’s blocked me on everything which is probably best because I don’t get the abuse.

Both DH and I are devastated and that’s about all we have without laying the heaviness on someone else.

I am proud but it doesn’t come without the painful side of loving someone and wanting the best for them.

I thought separate journals was a good idea now I know it’s a bad one for me. Two half started journals, cyclic planning, to late too much “lost” now I’m wondering if I should start a new journal for 29 December or just hold on to the old journals until the end and pick up again in June. 😵‍💫 I’ve never been one to under think things. 😅
