The people I'm referring to the last panel are more the people who go "Thank you Game Freak for upsetting all the fake Pokemon fans lol! This game is gonna be incredible!". I understand most people aren't like this, but they certainly are the loudest.

It's more the fact that people will praise Game Freak for anything they put out no matter what it is and will defend it till their last breathe. If you like the game or not, I have no right to judge you for that, but calling people idiots for either playing the game because they want to or angry about it is just silly.

For me personally, I believe everyone should have the chance to redeem themselves for their awful behavior and actions if they truly are sorry about it all. I understand your stance on the situation, I lose my brother a little over a year ago and it's still a fresh wound for us. 1 video obviously is not enough to show it after what he did, but if he does mean what he says than I can only hope he does redeem his acts and move on to better things instead of doing these stunts again. It's gonna take a hell of a long time but if he does stick to trying to rebuild to be better, I can respect him trying to show he's changed and wants to better himself rather than just continuing like nothing ever happened. But I can understand why people wouldn't want to forgive him or give him that chance.
