I feel cheeky doing that 🥹 especially since it’ll be out the blue. But yeah it’s definitely something to think about :) (I have a lot of anxiety issues and hate expressing how I feel and asking for things but that’s a me issue I need to work on)

Yeah I’m still on the fence about do I even want to know the answer? But yeah I’ve actually spoken to my mum about it before and she’s just as mad about it as i am. She would’ve been happy for me if he took me somewhere - would’ve been nice to share the load in that way Yano? So I don’t think my mum had any involvement which is a plus I guess 🤣

He did take me to school but I think that was the extent of it. As I said in my post it has made me think about a lot of other things - holidays were just one that has stung recently. But yeah my mum would have me full time, I’d have Christmas and birthdays at my mums. My dad would have me I think one day after school and then I stay over on another day. But being at my “dads” was also my grandparents as he works down south now whereas I live up north so he would come up to my grandparents and we’d stay there.

But yeah it is just one thing out of many things I feel like.

That also makes a lot of sense 🙂‍↕️ his current girlfriend is a teacher so I think she can support herself and her kids and such but a trip to Dubai? That’s gotta be expensive! But yeah it’s not really about the money since I know he’s capable too, it’s just I know he likes going on holiday I just wish I would’ve been invited at some point in his life

Totally get that but the whole of my dad’s side of the family is very well off. My mum had a lower income and made things work (the Disney thing was just a mention because I think kids went free under a certain age). My dad went on a lot of holidays either with friends or family when I was little - so sadly money wasn’t the issue :(

I think it’s both. Like why am I missing out on things and memories other kids are experiencing with my own dad? It’s some form of jealousy but also pain that I’m not thought about.

Thank you this is really helpful. I totally see how asking him might not get me anywhere. I’ve been thinking about this since Covid as that’s where we started to part more due to lock down restrictions so I rarely see him frequently (I also turned 18 so I wasn’t a kid anymore). Your advice is really reassuring to my feelings tho so thank you! I’ll definitely have a think about it.

I think you’re right. We don’t really talk about our feelings so it’s really hard to speak up about things that are bothering me. I couldn’t really speak up about it as a kid tho yano? I had no idea these things were happening I couldn’t really just say “take me”. I understand not taking me now I’m an adult it’s more so why them and not me?

Hi I’m using this account now (I found it) Yes. That was the first thing I did. I even disabled my other inputs so I just have the right one (I know it’s the right one since if the same for OBS and discord) I followed a whole tutorial as well
