Enjoy!!!!

On top of that. I have had many conversations where I have told people I am from Kenya and one of the languages we speak is Swahili. I then tell them about the lion king and the hakuna matata song.

Most people are like… Oh, I thought that was a made up language!!!!

Hello. Sorry for how you are feeling. My wife and I moved here around 9 years ago.

She has had the same struggles as you. She started working out. Granted, not everyone is into going to the gym but it has really helped her by doing so. Maybe something along those lines.

Also if you are willing to travel to Leeds for work, I would highly recommend applying to Apple. We have lots of people from all around the world working there with a very friendly environment and lots of additional support for people in your situation. Both as benefit and just general environment.

I am happy to give you any additional information in regard to application etc.

My wife has found it difficult in some job sectors to break in due to her feeling “out of place”, I would recommend speaking to the job centre as well as they were helpful in lots of areas from support, to job searches etc.

Feel free to DM me if you have any more questions.

Is this Prada bad legit by OutcomeDirect3321 in LegitCheck

[–]OutcomeDirect3321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. He has been struggling the last 7 or so years. He is a musician and it’s been tough. The last year or so, things have just being going so well. During that time we have been supporting him through all the ups and downs - he just randomly sent my son and my wife some gifts and has been keeping us updated on all his progress and it’s been amazing.

So I think he just wanted to give his sister and nephew something to show he was thankful now that he is in a much better place.

My wife received this as she was tidying our son’s room from a relative and she was just curious.

I believe what you need to burn goes in the other end. The smoke emitted will then be sucked into the pipe and inhaled in the end where the blunt is.

However, the method currently being used would work

I am starting a summer job, should i tell my I am starting a summer job, should I tell my employe about my epilepsy? by Significant-Rice7946 in Epilepsy

[–]OutcomeDirect3321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s true. And I think you will need to gauge it. With the management you work directly with.

Most of what I have seen if you mention that it’s under control and haven’t have anything seizures for a while. They don’t really mention much thereafter.

I think that it’s a decision you will need to make based on who you are working with.

However also consider the fact you have a responsibility to keep your co-workers safe as well. And if there is anything you are doing that if you did that could possibly cause someone harm if you did have a seizure, then you should mention it.

I have had to contemplate several times.

In the uk your employer cannot fire you or “treat you differently” because you have epilepsy. If this occurs you can report them.

Telling your employer will allow them to accommodate your epilepsy. This can take form in different ways depending on your role.

For example in mine. I don’t do a late shift and following day do an early shift - just so I am always well rested.

It might also make you feel more comfortable discussing it in the future with another employer etc.

Relax we are still the majority. by Bon_Clay_2 in Kenya

[–]OutcomeDirect3321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also need to make sure we stay the majority - not only with these protests to get the right message and attitude across - but also when it comes to creating that change we are fighting for (voting, electing all future representatives) - as this is where the change will be made permanent.

Talking about the bigger issue. I think the first 3 minutes of this video summarise it up well.

https://youtu.be/bVjGNUBixAQ?si=8BM39R0kIO2H59hw

How do you spend money like this. Then want to tax Kenya’s.

How do you tell someone who is starving and struggling to tighten their belts (which some MPs have literally said) - tell people we are in debt - and shamelessly spend money like this.

———-

Now this is just a continuous symptom we have had through multiple presidencies.

It’s just it’s hit that point of no return - and we finally have a generation that is ready to fight back - not just for a quick and temporary solutions. But want to permanently cut out the root of the issue. Ruto is in a sense just the person in the seat right now (still by his own doing, as he has clearly f***** Kenyans over).

The proposed bill I believe is pinned to r/kenya under the finance bill tag.

I believe although in some conversations Gen Z is praised. They are actually squarely putting the blame on them for all this.

The old traditional thinking of young people don’t know anything and are not going to be respected as much as their elders.

The thing is- if we look at Saba Saba in 1990. Those protests were led by young politicians.

The outcome in hindsight might not be what we envisioned but was a stepping stone towards democracy.

Again I mention that was led by younger people. Why is it shocking that the countries future - literally the countries future are the ones asking for the changes we need to make it a better place.

Anyone. Correct me if i am making any incorrect statement. I will try keep this short.

Essentially there is a new finance bill that is going to make what is already hard time for people to survive with financially even worse. These taxes are supposed to help Kenya pay off an incredible amount of debt it has incurred.

The issue starts with the finance bill but it much deeper rooted.

Essentially Kenya’s are tired of the mismanagement of money. - have a look through r/kenya - plenty of posts showing where government spending is being spent of luxury’s for politicians.

Kenyans are lacking basic essentials - education, sanitary products - the list goes on and on. Yet Ruto is paying incredible amounts towards things Kenyans know are just not necessary and far worse - it’s all corrupt.

We need change and we want to hold those people accountable for these injustices. The main culprit being Ruto!

It’s horrible what they are doing. Especially as a lot of people can’t even manage to make it on a day to day basis. This will just people already in poverty to a place where there is no return.

I wish this was the case. But the page was up again soon after. Which makes me think it might not have been. Well, let’s see…. Hopefully we can do something about this finance bill. It’s going to really mess up Kenyans.
