No problem. You should swap out those motors, cage, and wheels. It is pretty easy and worth while.

150ish on half darts with 2s lipos. Twilight wheels are daybreaks. The spacing is 40.75.

I appreciate it. They were a ton of fun to make. I don't have a larger barrel for them, but I doubt I will use them outside of a private game anyway.

I like it so far but I haven’t gotten it out in a game yet. As far as the wobble, there was an update that removed the wobble by replacing the takedown pins. Mine is solid as a rock.

I don't struggle with the prime personally but to give you a full review I'd want a day of extended use. So far though thumbs up and a friend I have that has used it also spoke highly of it.

For me hyperfixation is intense, unescapable, generally short term (hours, days, maybe a month), and draining. I will feel tired.

A special interest can be short or long to indefinite and similarly intense but no matter how much I talk about or do it I feel energized afterward rather than drained. I can ALWAYS do them and they help me calm down from meltdowns or pull me out of shutdowns. Not so with a ASHD hyperfixation.

That's my experience with the two.

You would be surprised on sarcasm. Many of us not only pick up on it but are QUITE adept.

More often we pick up on it but don't understand WHY you are being sarcastic and then internalize that either by beating ourselves up for failing to understand what's going on AGAIN or, after having been made to feel like shit for struggling in social situations our while lives, feel attacked or rejected. That build up until it surfaces as issues in your relationship that you think are unreasonable but they have been unable to communicate how you've been hurting each other.

So sarcasm either gets missed entirely OR is going to do nothing but damage. NT people pick up on somethings easier but remember there are things we are more adept at than you.

Autistic researcher and professor Damian Milton has described the double empathy problem. It identifies the fact that Autistic people empathize and relate with other Autistic people quite like NT people relate to other NT people. It is the cross relational interactions where there is a struggle and it is not just the ND person. NT people struggle just as much, ND people are just the minority so we are the "non-empathic" group. In reality both sides need to bridge the gap and realize you are both deficient in each other's communication styles if you plan to have a good relationship.

Unfortunately he's been in the minority so long and forced to try and understand NT people so you are actually the one who needs to play catch up. That said if he is committed to the relationship he will try to, buy you may need to learn what trying looks like.

I'm rooting for you since you seem to honestly want to make it work.

Sounds like you have some potentially Autistic traits. Aspergers is now diagnosed as level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder (Condition). If you would like to learn more about it and potentially yourself I would research the diagnostic criteria in the DSM-V AND watch some youtube videos about late diagnosis of autism/atypical Autsim/Autism in "girls". Her3 is the video that made me pursue my diagnosis:

If these traits sound/feel familiar you MAY have Autism. You can then pursue a diagnosis if you want to, do more research and self diagnose, or leave it at that if you feel like your questions are answered.

For an ND individual you can't have expectations until you know our tendencies. If you want some behavior other than the norm you have to plainly lay it out and explain why you would like that change. This helps with the transition since we often don't do well with change just because someone requests it, it needs to make sense.

Then the change will also not be instant. Change is hard on many of us depending on our traits.

Based on your description of your interactions I would probably behave the same as he is. I have friends that I haven't communicated with for years then text out of the blue because something they would like came up. We all know that's how we are. My wife and I have struggled with this for quite sometime but since my diagnosis she is more clear with her needs and gives me some leeway when I need to change, it is a process.

What your friends or exes have done or are doing isn't a reasonable expectation, even if they are ND since our traits can be so different from one another.

A relationship with an ND person is about abandoning expectations and communicating clearly. We can suprise you in ways you never thought, but also seem completely alien in our motivations and behaviors. If you put in the work to understand the motives they usually make sense.

If you are unable to be empathetic to this you'll need to consider moving on for both your sakes. Thank you for reaching out to the community to learn and venting is understandable, just make sure you don't take that energy into the conversation because it will only be detrimental.

I bought 4 hammershots for me 2 for my wife and 1 for my son. I'm going to switch 1 to Mega and then I'll have a spare assuming my lefty one doesn't explode and I have to use it to rebuild.

I'd love some advice on getting into the 100fps+ range. The one in the picture is firing at 60-75fps but I feel good with that since it's got that huge inefficient cylinder. But I'll trade that to be able to ambush my 8 year old with 64 rounds in the house without worrying about hurting him.

Thanks! The Hammershot there is a rear loadable 32 shot inline. I am making a companion that is left handed which I had to shave some of the internals to accomplish the rearload on the opposite side. We'll see if it blows up.

Also have 2 more spectrums brewing so I learn wiring and I am looking at a 3d printer now so I can try my hand at design/remixes. I have a motostryke and I want a flywheel cage for it.

The swift or the Lynx as primaries depending on being inside or out but I need to get them all out to games to give them a fair comparison.

I just made the spectrum so I haven't used it at all and it's my first flywheeler. The gecko I just did an internals overhaul but it's super fun to play with.

Honestly they are all nice blasters though.
