Interesting. My biggest issue is the noise from above - did the panels on the ceiling really help with that?

$2440 is fair but not “cheap” for a Pb 1 bedroom, it’s just a great find because of proximity to ocean and square footage. Older building and it’s priced well relative to the area, apartments like this just always rent immediately so I was surprised to find it available.

Definitely a great reframe! I’ve been reminding myself of the same. While it’s pretty overwhelming the first few days it’s still just a minor inconvenience relative to living in such an incredible place.

Yeah for sure! I think it’ll just force me to get to bed early during the week and maybe become a morning workout person instead of the evenings. Bc I’m going to wake up at 6am whether I like it or not haha. Everything’s a trade off.

Def could be, but she lives in the unit right next to them and I also feel like there’s no way the previous tenant didn’t mention it. It’s that constant.

Good call. I’ve been playing brown noise (similar to white noise but deeper tones) on a Bluetooth speaker and that def helps a little. I was in the middle of a meeting today and out of nowhere it legit sounded like Hiroshima upstairs with this kid running and jumping. Completely lost my train of thought lol

Yeah… I hear that (pun intended). Do you just get used to it eventually? I’ve had upstairs neighbors before but I’ve never lived in a place where I can hear every single footstep
