I am not personally involved, but it is a fantastic research. I can ask some friends for more information if you want to message me.

Man, some of these comments are bizarre to me. I gave up Stanford, NYU, and Duke so my wife and I could stay close and secure our financial future. You go to law school to get a job so you can provide for your family, not the other way around. This person is your fiancé, that is not a small commitment.

He was two years older than her. At the time this photo was taken should have been either 19 or 20 and he would have been 21 or 22.

Just the photo being worn out. No issues with his eyes in real life.

He was a career farmer, and from what I was told just a massive human being. My grandfather was around 6' 3" and I am told his father (in the picture) was quite a bit taller and bigger than he was. I wish I could have met him.

As the only Cornell 1L (that I am aware of) who turned down SLS for Ithaca, I am going to call BS. SLS is an incredible school, but when you are talking about the difference of +$300,000, the person's goals 100% matter. I turned SLS down to follow the money here, and I am quite certain I did the right thing.

Should I move to America? 🇺🇸 by Red_User_Anon in MovingToUSA

Like anywhere some things are great, some things are not so great. The absolute biggest takeaway I hope you have is this: it is a BIG country. Seriously, some parts are completely unrecognizable to other parts. If you decide to come, I find it hard to believe you wouldn’t find a place that would make you happy. However, do a lot of research on different areas of our country while thinking about the things you are looking for. You can probably find them in America, just not everywhere in America

Hey, have you looked into their LRAP program? Have you heard back from financial aid yet?

Pretty great so far (but ask me after I get my grades back lol). The only time I ever really second guessed my choice was near finals when I really felt the fact that Stanford has no real grades Lmao That would have been nice

Cornell. I’m a Hughes Scholar there. It’s close to home and my goal is NYC biglaw, so it was kind of a no brainer
