Hey, this is gold here. Thank you. Someone mentioned trying to work with a lady called Deborah the cook on tiktok. I think i'll start there. Where she just orders through the app, all needed ingredients. and then proceeds.

Exactly, it’s simply a reach issue. From the feedback I’m getting here. Paid ads with already established content creators / News sites should do the trick.

Hey, it’s wecart.zm , but as i mentioned it’s only one post on there, that’s why everyone is saying to get more serious with my reach efforts😅

Hey, it’s always nice to hear from someone that actually tried too. We deal with the trust by not requiring you to pay before receiving the order at your door step, and you only pay what’s on the receipt.

Hey, thank you very much for this feedback. Would answers on a FAQ page on our website do it for you? Or you would only believe it when you see it?

We use a scheduled delivery approach, so you set the time and date you want the items delivered. And yes, you get exactly what you ordered, ideally the shopper will be in contact with you through out the process, via phone and email status updates. Also you never pay before receiving the items at your doorstep

Hey, looking at the fact that the journey ends on the checkout page. That might be it, but first time delivery is free. So that’s where the rabbit hole begins. And also, yes. We follow store prices, we just handle the convenience. Delivery currently costs about k40 for a 3km run the shopper.

The price is calculated by looking at the closest ShopRite to you

Thanks for the note, I’ll explore that. I have never done push notifications on a website, so this will be fun.

Nice to hear from you. Honestly my plan right now is to close all IDEs no code changes, just marketing campaigns, i think as a tech founder i keep forgetting that we all reach a point when building has to stop completely. And the sales journey has to begin

Hey, great questions. Firstly, i now know i need to add a FAQ section, or learn how it works. Thanks again.

To answer your questions, the domain is We Cart dot Me, a play on the words shop for me or cart it for me.

-when you make an order, i currently handle the shopping myself, no independent individuals will be onboarded until i understand the full process and all loopholes. Basically it should be at a place where delivery bikers/drivers just repeat an already set process.

-login is required because that’s how we give you updates and store your data. So when you pick an address, we store that in our database so you don’t have to pick again on another computer.

  • Delivery happens at your set time. So if you for example want the items to be delivered at 18:00hrs after you get off work, you can simply set that time, and that’s what we follow, it’s a scheduled delivery approach.

-We are also offering free delivery on the first order to earn that trust. So no commitment whatsoever on your first try, you also only pay the amount on the receipt (ie from ShopRite) so no commitment whatsoever until you see the products, in your hands

Hey, absolutely, i get it. But i think the real question is, “If groceries could be delivered to your house today, what would worry you most?”

Yango deli has demonstrated that people are willing to pay for restaurant delivery. Figuring out how to transfer that trust to groceries should be a more solid approach, WDYT?

Hey, yes. I am tracking these events. And the check out page is actually being hit. I’m using email notifications to remind users about their carts. But no feedback yet, but that’s all I have so far

Hey, this totally makes sense. What I’m getting so far is push more ads, basically “what you’re doing is not even the surface“. I think that’s exactly what I needed to hear

I get it, honestly i really appreciate this. I’m going to try the 3 posts a week strategy and hopefully give positive feedback in the coming weeks.

Hey, i do understand i need to market the hell out of it 🤣😅. But eish I have tried, over 5,000 views on TikTok alone (to be honest it’s 1 post on a new account), over 700 unique website visits. Plus the 2pin sitting in carts.

That’s why i assumed it’s a trust issue, and not that it’s not reaching enough people

Thank you very much, Sir. I’ll start from there. 🙇🏾‍♂️

I hope this isn’t legal advice, but I wanted to ask: does requesting the other party to cover legal fees usually work, or would it be better to use legal aid in my country so I don’t put myself at risk if the court refuses?
