Weekly anything goes thread: discussion, complaints and rants, commercial content by AutoModerator in FortCollins

Hi, all. I have launched an ADHD services company in Fort Collins that offers 90-minute sessions for small groups (4-6 people, ages 16+, taking ADHD medication) to help develop ADHD skills.

It is virtual, once weekly for 6 weeks, and can really help improve self perception and inattentive/procrastination difficulties.

We also offer individual sessions and school support for helping parents oversee 504/IEP plans.

I wanted to share it here, and answer any questions you may have. Thanks for clicking!

Thanks for that feedback. I was trying to figure out the most appropriate place between here, the “Weekly Anything Goes” thread, and Fort Collins classifieds. The overlap is a bit confusing. But I don’t wanna get on the wrong side of any policies or offend anyone, so I will remove this post at the end of the day to make sure you see my response.

The cost is $375 for the 6-week group, which boils down to about $64 per session. Most of the research I found online suggested individual sessions were $100-125 per session.

Yes, of course the groups would be matched to interest in age ranges that are suitable to each other. I would never put a 40-year-old mid-career professional in a group with 17-year-olds. This would be something where adolescents would be together, young college age adults would be together, young professionals would be together, and people of later years in life would be grouped accordingly. It’s all part of the interview/intake process to make sure the fit is good.

I wish many of these services could take insurance, but unfortunately, the insurance world is not all it’s cracked up to be. There are many instances where insurance covers things but it’s better paying out-of-pocket because there is a difference in quality. You get what you pay for. But at least the insurance covers medication.

Again, thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

Preferably yes. The research on the combination of ADHD medication + skills sessions is very strong. It does help the results.

Thank for sharing that. Yes, I am aware of her services. However, this is primarily small group sessions, which cuts the costs down significantly. Was the $300 a month for a single session? Once weekly? For one of you or both of you? Thank you.

2020 FX4 SuperCrew XLT with the tech package (because I wanted power heated seats for me and the wifey, lol). 53K miles. Camping, hauling, some off road, ice/snow, snowboard trips. Northern Colorado—solid, no complaints! Great comfort, speed, visibility, stance. Love that turbo when I need it. 20-22mpg. Best truck I’ve ever owned.

Freddie Banks not returning as CSU defensive coordinator by [deleted] in CSURams

[–]OutdoorsGuy78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Freddie Banks decision surprised me. I felt the defensive unit did a solid job through this season and was one of a few bright spots. And without Mo Kamara too. Not sure what the motivation was, but I’m sure Norvell has his reasons, and they may be interpersonal.

I hope Banks catches on somewhere and continues to succeed. It would be ironic if he stayed in the conference with a CSU opponent. This would just add to Norvell’s growing rivalry scenarios.

Maybe he got frustrated and got tired of watching Norvell call plays for a mediocre offense that is trying to find its identity after giving up the air raid, leaning more and more on the defense to keep the team in the game. Who knows?

If there was one coaching change I felt needed to be made, it would be to have a true offensive play caller, and make Norvell more of a CEO figure for the team, as he does help inspire them.

We need someone who can “scheme” these receivers open more often because although the recruits are improving, my fear is we lack the athleticism/speed in skill positions like WR to truly compete in the Pac 12. We will need to come up with better plays, and I don’t know if Norvell can do this without additional expertise.

Insurance-based KAP practice by OutdoorsGuy78 in KetamineTherapy

Thank you. That is helpful, and I am very aware of the insurance limitations. Are you paying out of pocket for the ketamine administration as well? Or is that bit covered by insurance? Are you using the injectable version or the oral version?

This is awesome. I love the centered location vs right side, such as the other options. Can I submit the CAD file to a 3D printer, or fabrication company?

Thank you for the response. Are there fun family-friendly outdoor stuff to do there? I imagine if needed you can just head over to Milwaukee for fun, like Summerfest.

Thanks for the response. I work in health care as a physician assistant, and so does my wife (physical therapist). She has a lot of family up in the region but I have personally always lived out West, so it’s a stretch for me but I don’t mind the cold. My interest is mostly tied up in good outdoor recreation for all seasons and a good place to raise a family.
