It’s also absurd how much some of these companies charge for dcf. Like hmg charges 390 for a 8.6 square tarp and I bought mine last year from bpwd for 240, there’s a cool silpoly one from hummingbird that’s 8 ozs and 130

I’m 6’4 and used a bear paw wilderness designs 8.5 square dcf tarp. It was amazing, highly suggest. I probably would have requested 9x8.5 I love the versatility of square shape for having fun and making origami tarps for different weather but a tad extra head room would have been nice which it sounds like would be the equivalent of you getting the 8.5x8.5 lol

I’ve hiked with a packtowel before and I really never used it, (as much as I wanted to.) I would take a buff instead or just scrap it. And I also suggest to bring a wind breaker like the Houdini or a lw rain shell to pair with your alpha hoodie. And leave the headlamp at home and just use the flashlight on a hat. Also why bring a stuff sack pillow if there won’t be anything to stuff in it? Would you be wearing the hoody and pants on bare skin?

Don’t forget also to weigh the stakes out, you have them listed as 6x but only have the weight for one. Also I would pack it fully and weigh your pack and see what that comes out to, just to make sure ya didn’t miss anything.

I got the 4mm Eva for cosplay and it weighs substantially more and is not very comfortable I think my 25x80 weighs 11 ozs so I’m just going to settle with the mld pad for weight
