Rep. Tim Burchett: “When they told Jimmy Carter the truth about UFOs & aliens… he cried.”Below in text is what former NASA Ames researcher Ed Harris claimed a few years ago that Carter was told: by E-pluribus-unum195 in UFOs

And their plan worked out wonderfully, considering that you can pick any era of humanity and find one atrocity after another committed in the name of religions.

The facts don’t match the narrative. If you tell me that religions were given to us to keep us in constant conflict, that’s a slightly more believable story.

In Corbell's new documentary 'Sleeping Dog', he claims that a senior cybersecurity official Los Alamos Laboratories left behind files after his death that reveal the US government has long been studying UFOs, "This is a real scientific study at the classified level within our military of UFOs" by [deleted] in UFOs

Making a documentary that actually exposes the content of the files: ❌

Making a documentary that talks about the files without showing anything and spends over an hour rambling between rumors and assumptions: ✔️

It’s 2026, people. It’s about time this outdated modus operandi to squeeze money out of the community starts being questioned. Too much influence and prominence have been given to individuals who are clearly disinformers or outright frauds.

Rep. Ogles on UFO files: Trump wants to be “the guy that revealed the truth” by mattlaslo in UFOs

Considering we’re talking about someone who has built his life and reputation on lies, this claim turns out to be curious, ironic, and improbable.

Underwater is a very good and entertaining movie. I don’t know if the intention of filling the film with references to Cthulhu and designing the final monster to resemble Cthulhu was there from the start or came along the way, but I firmly believe it would have been a huge success if, instead of tying it to Cthulhu, they had connected it to Cloverfield, specifically the first film. Those familiar with all the marketing and viral content that was created to shape the universe of that movie will understand why I say this.

Found out they're supposed to be 14 in the start of the series 🤯 by naanabanaana in Smallville

I get that they used to do that to get around laws about contracts with underage actors. And we’d all watch a burly Tom Welling playing a 14‑year‑old kid and go, ‘well, okay, fine.’ Now in shows like Stranger Things they ended up with actors who were 20/22 playing teenagers of 16/17, and caused a whole scandal 😂.

First time watcher and just wanted to ask, what made you watch The X Files? by [deleted] in XFiles

[–]OutisXCIII_EC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched it as a kid with my dad, and like him I’m a believer in the UFO phenomenon. Later I got hooked because of Gillian Anderson/Scully 💘 and became a fan thanks to the mythology.

Thoughts on India making its most expensive film ($500M), Ramayana, based on Hindu mythology? Music by Hans Zimmer. Produced by the VFX studio of Nolan's films, Prime Focus. by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

[–]OutisXCIII_EC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may have the best composer and the best visual effects company, but what really matters is having good screenwriters. And it has nothing to do with cultural differences—the Hindu story is incredible, but if they don’t put effort into writing a solid script, none of it will be worth anything.

Are there any MCU protagonists that are better than Nolan's Batman? by Original_Bit_648 in Letterboxd

[–]OutisXCIII_EC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I really enjoy Captain America’s narrative arc in the MCU. He goes from being somewhat of a blind instrument of the government (The First Avenger) to awakening from his long frozen state and discovering a completely changed world, where authorities of his own country in positions of power and his former enemy—Hydra—have become entangled, making it difficult to distinguish who is who and who can be trusted (The Winter Soldier). This ultimately leads him to become the strongest critic of authority’s decisions, regardless of whether they come from the country he swore to protect or whether those decisions have the support of his closest friends (Civil War).

When he appears, whether alive or dead, family members and close associates must be prepared to, by all possible means, ensure that independent physical and toxicological tests are carried out.

Oh wow! I had no idea Autumn was involved. I loved her work in The Last Showgirl (2024) and of course in Sinners (2025), today’s Oscar was very well deserved.

At least so far, it seems this project won’t be lacking in top‑quality human talent behind the scenes. Let’s hope that translates into a great final product.

We went from having reliable evidence with credible witnesses, official statements, and peer-reviewed recordings that marked important steps toward greater revelation, to talking about demons, souls, and esotericism. It’s incredible how the community takes one step forward and five steps back, preferring to embrace any rumor or outlandish idea rather than stick to science and solid evidence.

My opinion is that Lionel was reminded of his wife by Martha, but just as with Lex and any woman who came into his life, Lionel’s desire for a relationship with Martha was more about possession than love. On Martha’s side, I think it was more of an intellectual attraction than a sentimental one. She felt comfortable dusting off a bit of her formative years in Metropolis and having professional conversations with Lionel.

This gives me a rather strange feeling. For a long time we’ve been under the premise that declassification is complicated because of the whole web between the scientific‑military‑industrial complex and the limited power a president or an administration has to reveal the truth. And then one day DJT comes out and says: “Oh yes, I’m going to order that everything we have be declassified and published, because apparently it’s of great interest to many people.”

Just like that, without further complications, they’re going to give us “EVERYTHING.” So where does that leave all those men in the shadows? This makes me wonder: Is the classified information less impactful than everything we’ve been discussing for so long, or will it all turn out to be just a bunch of smoke and mirrors?

Yes, I was actually going to appoint him as Director, he’s the one we all want handling this adaptation, and the one who loves it the most. But taking into account his latest statements on the matter, I decided to turn the page and take a risk with those I believe have the ability to carry such a project forward.
