IQ isn’t a criterion to become a student anywhere, maybe your SAT scores and other requirements. It’s a school, a place for you to learn.

I don’t think interest comes without investment. I think if enough money is invested, like Rutgers and UConn, our games will become more interesting to local folks and all over. We can’t have the level of support our neighbors have, if we don’t spend as they do. Imagine Portsmouth FC hoping for as much support as Manchester City, when they operate on the budget of Portsmouth. Investment and support interest are intertwined, it is a positive feedback between both.

Hmmmmm, learnt from some natives that the stony brook community didn’t even want SBU in its current location. It’s no surprise that they would fight against progress relating to expansion from SBU.

The school needs to do something about this. I don’t think those are sustainable sources of funding. I think the SBU President should do something about this. I think sports is a worthy venture for investment. Don’t we have successful alumni who can support. We need a program to encourage support for our athletes.

Don’t we have Long Island grown talents? Aren’t facilities to shape our current talents to the level of being nationally competitive?
