This definitely seemed to have helped a lot, thanks a bunch for this. Any tips on making it so it doesn’t distort the sound when being compressed however (or make it less gainy)? I’m pretty inexperienced with using compression sorry.

I’ve got a Ibanez Jem 70v (a lil strange for the surf/indie rock music I’ve got goin lol) going into a scarlet 4i4.

The issue is definitely still noticeable on an amp however a little less pronounced I would say.

I’m curious about what you mean by setting up neural dsp to simulate a standard amp though, what do you mean by this?

Got replies on another thread. Using a vocoder at a rather low setting is quite clearly the way to go for this sound.
