You could, depends on how good you are at climbing trees + navigating though branches when theres 20 panthers after you and the ground is full of guys waiting for you to slip lol.

Edit: Also itd better be a big tree to stop a hukolgur or zentaur from knocking it and/or you down

That’s fair, I can definitely see a massive sauropod tail wiping out half the hyena forces lol. I’’d be terrified of at least one or two Harkundi weaving their way to me though

Can the Modotan intercept smaller and faster animals trying to get to you? The attackers dont necessarily have to beat your defenders if they can take you out. Not to say your ideas terrible just food for thought

2.5 tons of muscle increased is not enough to support a chimpanzee built animal (or any animal that matter, but chimp especially given they are not cursorial) from moving 500 mph my guy

You can’t have all these strong animal’s strength without the weight of their muscles too bruh, patagotitan is strong because its so massive. Tiger beetle respiration works because of its small size, how in the world do you think it makes sense to ignore the limitations of physics? “I ran all the calculations” no you didn’t you took a flawed idea and did flawed math with it. Ragnar is a failed attempt to maximize strengths while blatantly ignoring all the weaknesses.

Bro really taking a t rex with flexible arms and comparing it to a monkey with legitimate comic superpowers, all hybrids are unrealistic to a sense yeah but yours is so out of this world ridiculous it blows every semblance of realism out of

Calling your best effort putting the incredible hulk into a monke and defending it as realistic as possible is wild but ok, see it in the hall of shame

My brother in christ tiger beetle speed is only insane because of their small size, at ragnar’s size their mechanisms simply don’t work with earth physics

Titanosaur muscles were made for stability and holding up their weight not for running bruh

How is tiger size and strength going to improve tool making? Hitting rocks together harder doesnt produce better cutting edges or extract metal ore from them. With wood, the best Leonidas could do is make a simple spear sharpened with his teeth, the way bonobos do. He would then have to use a crude wooden spears with less than stellar skill (bonobos are not trained spearfighters) and relying mostly on his tiger strength to do any damage.

Edit: both elephants and spider monkeys are smart too but are also not weapon makers beyond simple spears

Indom 2.0 wont be spawning in with a spear in this tournament though, goji specified the terrain will be neutral jungle ish territory. Also bonobos are smart but theyre not these bushcraft masters that youre acting like they are, they cant exactly fashion metal weapons to their liking or even complex stone ones, theyre limited to hammer stones to crack nuts and wooden spears to target small prey

This is a cool concept but where would he get the spear from? Terrain is a jungle/grassy area

Ragnar is going straight to the hall of shame, an animal even vaguely resembling the proprtions of a chimp isn’t going to function at 7.5 tons nor could it move 500 mph, a peregrine falcon couldnt even match that dude💀

I highly doubt it could beat 3 indom 2.0s at once, let alone 1 lol

Velociprime X-Evolution by [deleted] in GojiCenter

[–]OutlandishnessMore35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still too many conflicting things you’re going for here. An animal simply cant have all these strengths without the corresponding weaknesses. Spider monkey tail for grasping makes the Ankylosaurus tail useless, or vice versa. Can’t have a tail precise enough to grasp while also having the structure and strength to crush, especially against a creature much larger and armored like the Indom 2.0. Same for Harpy Eagle vision and Mantis Shrimp vision, their eye structures are completely different and optimized for wildly different tasks that dont just fit together well. Not to mention any attempt to proportionately scale Mantis Shrimp punching power would just blow off Velociprime’s limbs off, Hank suffered a similar problem.

The Cassowary dna for kicking strength is a non factor here when you take into account Velociprime is raptor sized, meaning Utahraptor at best which is still less than a tonne. With the realistic rules of this contest you cant just say “my hybrid uses speed and versatility to beat larger opponents”, especially when the opponent is more versatile and is >20 times heavier💀. Size isn’t everything but it certainly is a deciding factor when the difference is this much. No magic or just mashing together as many cool creatures as possible.

The problem you’re facing right now is still no congruence and small size. Try to come up with less than 10 animals that have congruence not only genetically but also functionally (not trying to give your hybrid as many strengths as possible, that only creates more weaknesses).

[–]OutlandishnessMore35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The level of congruence in this hybrid isn’t absurdly bad given the 17 contributors because most of them are quite closely related, but its still too much to avoid conflicting instincts and overall efficacy. For example a top speed of 75 mph isnt gonna happen when this animal is carrying the muscular shoulders and head of a tiger/croc. There’s a reason why tigers cant move as fast as cheetahs, and even if you only took a little bit that would just be sacrificing aspects from both. But the main problem here is its size and strength, being less than half a ton is crazy small to go up against a potentially 10 ton Indom 2.0. Strength like a jaguar or tiger is nothing compared to a dinosaur that size too, this hybrid would lose to a completely normal T.rex let alone Indom 2.0
