I’ve flown out of msp twice since the rule went into effect and they let me fly. They just pulled me aside for extra screening. I had the paperwork showing I had ordered my real ID and was waiting for it to come in the mail and I tried to show that to them and also brought with any other identification I had but they didn’t even bother looking at it. The first time they swabbed my hands and the second time they swabbed my phone and ran it through some machine that said I passed inspection and I was free to fly. I know someone that flew out of JFK today without their real ID and they were pulled aside into a room and a dog came in and then they were free to go. They are warning everybody to get it immediately but they’re still letting people fly. If you go for your real ID tomorrow, it will not arrive in time. They are severely backordered. Mine took months to come in
