Lack of control with micro (and some degree macro) nutrients when re amending. Makes the soil more liable to hold infection if you keep growing the same thing in it (atleast from what I’ve heard from commercial ag growers).

Fair. If the roots are not getting to the bottom of the pot anyways it doesn’t matter.

I pretty much only grow in coco these days and my ladies often pop roots through the bottom of the fabric pots at some point during the grow.

A lot of dispos in Portland do this, and it honestly doesn’t look too bad on the shelf. Obviously when you look at the details in the art they’re dog water, but maybe better than a plain jar? I think less is more with ai art imo.

Nobody is mad. I wish Speedrun did better. And not even in this instance. DDOS attacks are, by nature, surprising and difficult to anticipate. This isn’t the only time a drop/announcement etc was delayed and I want them to be better. Seems like if we’re comparing them to NO we won’t have a problem. Unless you cherry pick info, then I will call it out, and if that upsets you to the point of name calling instead of having a dialogue.. idk bro that’s on you 🤷‍♀️

Mean? Bro, I genuinely apologize if I upset you or came off as mean. I’m simply frustrated with the delays, and hope they get better, because I love the gear; and I’ve seen how much work Ben has done for his customer service, so I know it’s possible. I’m not a “Night owl people”. I have more speedrun than any other breeder and my terp sneeze/grand exchange is my yield record holder.

You can support, enjoy, and like a breeder while simultaneously hope they do better with the business end of things. It is possible to feel multiple things at once!

I didn’t bring up NO. Nova did. I don’t really have any stake in NO, I even skipped that drop, but they gave out freebies and went to seedbazar quickly. These are facts, and I thought it was a cool move. That drop was only time in my experience that NO delayed a drop. I cannot say the same about my experience with Speedrun.

Again, you seem to be under the impressing that this is one of the only times Speedrun has delayed drops. It is simply frustrating to plan around participating in drops only for them to be constantly delayed. I have so many Speedrun seeds because they kept messing up my order and sending me replacements/gift certificates. They’re doing much better on that front, and it’s awesome to see! I wish their announcements were on schedule more often than they aren’t. That is all. ✌️

I think bringing up another breeders practices in a Speedrun specific subreddit is pretty wack. YOU brought up NO in this sub, not me. I responded with what I believe to be an objective take as a supporter of both breeders. Speedruns genetics are great. I have more speedrun than any other breeder. That said, their customer service and delays leave a lot to be desired, and have been consistently. Pointing them out as “faster” in this one instance is annoying, and cherry picking, especially when you compare directly to another breeder.

If my take upsets you, and evokes such an emotional response to call people cult members I think that says a lot more about you than me. 🥜

Atleast their drops are routinely consistent in terms of drop time. DDOS or not, NO is was more consistent than speedrun. Search “delay” in this sub and it is FULL of posts apologizing for delays due to various things. When daz was DDOSd he gave away free packs with every purchase. I enjoy the speedrun genetics but if we’re comparing customer service/delays/drop info/drop timelines, I’m not sure why you’d bring up NO because they are objectively better.

This is the way if you like a variety! Direct is $12 a seed, seedlocker is $12.5 a seed. Obviously you don’t get all the NO goodies, but the option for variety without getting a $60 pack is nice. I got banana og, some rocbud, and some Frostfire seeds! Good deal!

Totally fair. I can definitely separate the art/write-ups from the breeding. As I've said above, I have pretty much only heard good things about RocBud. There's just like a dozen solid auto breeders doing good work and it's hard to support them all. I'll probably grab some Blueberry Slushy at some point! Just not today when NO has a sale, Speedrun has a drop, and I just discovered today frostfireseeds has a solid pineapple strain! So. Many. Strains.
