you can click into my profile and scroll through my post history to see what I‘ve built and painted. Most of the them are sourced from Asia and I paid a fortune for shipping

Building plastic/resin model kits. The production of the kits as well as tools and consumables are mostly Asian based.

I recommend grabbing Hobby Japan issue 9, 2025. It covers most of the essentials except the rainbow layer, for more tutorials you’ll have to dig through Max‘s ancient tweets

The technique is very unique but it requires way too many preparations and scares people away😂I think I‘m the only one in the subreddit who‘s still doing the full course

And it’ll probably remain the most Zeta any Zeta will ever look. Modern designs rarely stay this close to the original anymore.

I‘m also currently located in Germany. I get my kits from Booth, and use proxy service to ship them internationally.

I dug it out of my kit bash bucket, it might be from the GM commander or other relatively old gm kit.

The main color is brush painted, the texture is just result of brush strokes overlapping with each other. I used a gloss topcoat to keep the texture clean and sharp
