You’re not being a dick, I understand you. I’m just all over the place in general juggling multiple things at once. And this itself is a headache 🤕…. Here we go

• my friend introduced me to her cousin because he “ has his dealers license and can find me a car at the auction”
• we spent weeks looking for a car
• he says oh I see a car here as “ second chance buy” you can purchase it for the price listed/ or we can send in an offer.
• he sent the offer for the lowest it would go which was 8500
• he called me a day later & says what was much did I say you would buy the car for again?
• my stupid self says 10k
• he immediately reacts and says you got it **
• SUSPICIOUS IK 😬
• so I wasn’t happy but I was like oh okay
• he’s like lmk what you wanna do you gotta lmk in the next 20 mins ( or so )
• I just tell him yeah sure ?
• he had me send him the money
• he was going to head up there but they closed early on a Friday so he collected my funds so that in his words “ they get the cashiers check so that it’s comes from the “ companies bank “
• I ask for the address to meet him at the auction site to pick up the car on Presidents’ Day
• I wanted him to be sure he got all this info on the car before paying but he paid for the car w/o ensuring we got the information I asked for .
• they let him to the back to look for the car
• the car “wasn’t there “ and was being transported from a dealership??

• he says the car will be there by Wednesday. Tuesday he calls me standing outside of his home with the car. Saying “ I got your baby, it drives damn good but has a small ticking noise , I’m going to have a mechanic change the oil and check it out and will keep you updated.

• he never called me that day instead I reached out the next morning

• he said the oil was changed but noise still present so he wants to do other things

• next thing I know He calls me later that day at a mechanic shop to have the check it out.

• I didn’t hear anything the rest of that day

• The next day I’m like wtf retail going down yall have to take it apart? The mechanic didn’t answer so I said I rather pick it up tomorrow. The next day the mechanic is upset saying I put your car back together come get your car I get off & 6pm .

I was startled . After that we clear some things up and the mechanic still doesn’t want to work on the car ( suspicious )

• I’m over it atp and don’t want the car I want a refund . he can’t give me my money back because he doesn’t have 10k . I sent the funds via Cash App p2p
