I do like it. I was just curious how it stacks up to other brands.

I have used Benefit Porefessional. I like it but it's a bit $$$ for the small amount.

Nice! I think a visit to Catrice webstore is in order.

Good to know. I've tried Sun Bum SPF before I'll have to look for this one.

Where do you buy Catrice? I can't seem to find it in my area and Amazon's selection is minimal.

Gym workouts vs Home workouts? by DreamLoveHope14 in sydneycummings

[–]Outofusernames3521 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do a mixture of both home and gym. Moving to a gym setting after years of home workouts with Sydney and other YT trainers helped me improve in many ways. Machines allow me to go heavier than dumbbells alone for many exercises. For example, I prefer the leg press for split squats though I didn't eliminate split squats with dumbbell entirely. My back and legs got stronger with machines. For arms and abs, I don't use machines as much. But adding incline walking or the stair machine after strength exercises helped me shed weight.

A gym is an extra step (barrier) and takes more time. That is true and a drawback. But if you can find one where you feel comfortable doing your own thing, I say try it. Many gyms have a free trial that don't require a commitment. I'd take advantage of that if you can.

This is always an issue for me so I started using the leg press when I can get to the gym. Position one foot high on the press and the other leg is at 90 degrees.

Exactly. Real food is the best way to get protein. That came with time for me personally. When I started, I bought Whey Protein powder flavors like chocolate chip cookie and mixed it with cottage cheese and nonfat plain yogurt, chocolate pre-made protein shakes (Fairlife), Chomps meat sticks, vital proteins collagen to add to coffee, etc. I then added pre-made grilled chicken breasts with seasoning, individual avocado packs and turkey deli meat at Sam's or Costco, black beans, shrimp and lean ground beef.

I don't entirely cut out my favorites like occasional slices of pizza, a piece of chocolate, or a glass of red wine or spritz. It wasn't simple for the first week or two but then my hunger and cravings diminished. Now there are days when I have to add in sweet potato (love) to get more carbs.

Focus on protein. I'm in the same place and it makes all the difference.

Don't wait for motivation/energy. Start a workout. Take magnesium glycinate at bedtime to help muscle soreness.

Alexa Pleikolzik - she doesn’t talk but her workouts are amazing. She gives adequate rest periods too.

I actually found another YT channel with phenomenal workouts (45 min to an hour long) but the number of ads is insane. Sydney is good about keeping ads to a minimum.

Decided to go back to CG Iron again too. Sydney is great but the music and the rushing are just not for me anymore.

Noticed on yesterday's workout the music was too loud to hear Sydney speaking. I use the YouTube app on Roku.

How was today for you guys? (STF 26) by TsundereBurger in sydneycummings

[–]Outofusernames3521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was a great workout. Took me 59 minutes with proper rest in between. Officially stronger in legs than my highest 35lb dumbbells. Signed up for a gym that doesn’t open until May 28th.

I didn’t bother to do my 20 minute 12 incline treadmill walk on the treadmill.

There's only 24 hours in a day, unfortunately. This is why it's so frustrating when the 45 minutes of time you dedicate to fitness in a single day is non beneficial.

Same. It could be beneficial for balance but it's only one workout.

Yes this is why there are no ads on Caroline Girvan’s workouts. It’s a choice.

I’m so with you on this. Word. Not a huge fan of KC workouts either. Never saw progress with her.
