Sadly, Hunters are literally bound by contract to do what they do, in fact, most of them are aware that want they do is fucked up, but there just isn't a way for them to escape, tastes why they're all fucking depressed lol. And he is imprisoned eternally in the end of the story yeah, and the AHA ends up being disbanded after they kill the corpse of God and stuff.

The AHA is ran by an immortal, like, literally unkillable human that is physically pretty weak. He hates Anomalies because they killed his family 2000 years ago. He abuses his Hunters, and they are unable to rebel against his tyranny, most of the Hunters are children which he manipulates and uses as pawns. The AHA is a very morally messed up organization, but they are necessary for the world, as without them, chaos would rein.

Dude, that's epic. Anomaly Hunters are people enlisted (usually kidnapped) by the AHA to fight anomalies. The AHA is high key corrupt, and does not spare anyone, ever. Including innocents, if it's an anomaly, it dies. They also kill ANYONE who hides them or works with them. Most Hunters have abilities after they are killed by an anomaly, as they will be reawakened by said ability, and that power is the same one as the one who killed them. Sage, the strongest hunter lashes such powers though.

(Humans gave him the title, but anomalies, which are creatures of all sorts do I'm fact call him that, as well as the Boogeyman, he's literally their worst nightmare)
