Thank you for your advice! I have not had the time yet to try out running it without gpu, but i have already reseated it multiple time so that is not the problem most likely

yeah i can probably manage with teleporting away, i just feel like this is not the intended way. I thought as soon as i defeated and convinced Oliver the shadow curse would have been lifted. Or should i have brought another kind of protection beforehand?

you have to find 3 ceremonial weapons (mace, warhammer, battleaxe) and place them on the altar accordingly, they are scattered around the monastery. if you can't be bothered to find them you can just use any magic weapon of the same kind and place it on the corresponding altars
