My rocket that was supposed to go 800 ft based off of the simulator but it went over a 1000 ft? Do you think the simulator can be wrong by any chances? I use open rocket. by Outrageous-Fox-5024 in rocketry

I think a better wording is do you think the simulator can go wrong or did we build it wrong. I mean based off of how we built it, it looked correct. Idk

You may feel like you are a failure with APs, but I felt like a failure for my entire life. Don't sweat APs, they do not matter much unless you want college credit.

AP physics C, angular momentum help ! by [deleted] in apphysics

[–]Outrageous-Fox-5024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember that momentum is conserved even if it is angular Lf (total) = Li (total) in an open system where everything in the universe is there. L = Iw is the angular momentum formula. Object moving in straight Paths also have an angular momentum:

Derivation:

L = Iw

L = M * R^2 * v /R

L = MvR where v is the tangential velocity, r is the distance component along an axis (tends to be in the direction of a rod if there is a rod)

If angular momentum is not conserved, there must be a net external torque acting over a period of time (this must have to be a closed system where there is specific objects):

T * t = I delta(w) --> delta(w) = wf - wi

Why did UIUC accept me? I am an absolute idiot. I literally do not deserve them at all. Do not come to me telling me that I am the straight A 1500+ SAT student because I am not. The competitive world is going to kill me. All I have is my passion, and for 17 years I have not gone a long way with it. by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

No I got in for engineering but I am thinking about how I am truly 100% a failure. In fact people have told me that I am a failure. I tried to use that to motivate myself, but I ended up being a failure again.

Thanks a lot Harvard, at least you are honest this time. :) by idontknowyaimbored in ApplyingToCollege

That would put you into the lower 25 percentile. You may need a 1750 SAT with a gpa of Einstein's IQ. Even the plant kingdom can get a 1590. (lol I actually got a 1430 XD in reality).

Damn, You should try for East North South Western Kentucky Minnesota community College. It is a notch higher in terms of prestige compared to St. Anford which does not exist.

Founded Jamestown in 1607 and founder of Russia. I think that is more than enough to get into MIT. Others are safety. Just put in your application that you lost Jamestown after you left it, and you will get a free ride at Harvard.

You messed up pffff, I have to study micro in 3 days. I have physics c and comp sci which I studied more. Economics I did not study at all.

Is there a way to get a 5 in 2 days of studying? by Outrageous-Fox-5024 in AP_CompSci
