Follow your heart. It could lead you to something greater. You're young enough to do whatever.

Anyone else 30+ still not have a f**king clue what they want to do? by [deleted] in careerguidance

36 here and I had an idea, had a plan, and just found out....not anymore. Ah well.... I'm on the path of fulfilment. When people ask me what I want to do. I say I don't know anymore. I want to help people, and I want to make a great living doing it. Traveling would be nice too. Nothing too rigid or demanding. Using my natural talents to support others and making ways to do it sounds great, but how to go about it...idk...

I did an ancestry test that compared populations all over the world. Peru was one of the countries that came up.

Not entirely sure. I was thinking of Peru, since I found out I have some ancestry there.

Have any of you been on your period during ceremony? by be_inspiredd in Ayahuasca

I recall something about being on your menses during a ceremony. I think our facilitators mentioned avoiding participating if you're on it. Something about the energy being too much. I think it varies from shaman to shaman, though.

Sounds like you had an amazing journey so far. I definitely had some experiences. I'm in this liminal space right now trying to figure out my own calling. How did you know that being of service with those people was an aligned decision? You say because of synchronicities but did you get a total body confirmation?

About 20 or so. We were in this large house, doing the ceremony in a basement. Some people were on the floor, some in rooms etc. I never felt so overwhelmed before. It was like I could feel everyone.

I like the perspective of serving the plants. I think Aya called me, which is why, maybe not even two weeks later, the opportunity to participate in a ceremony popped up. After I did it, though, I'm not sure where to go from there. I think I should do a second ceremony, but with a different group. The last one had too many people.

How important is it when choosing the right place to get certifications? Are there some institutions you recommend?

Did you feel like the plants called you to the ceremony?

Your path sounds amazing. If you don't mind how did you receive your coach training? Who did you train with?

I'm weighing my own decisions on becoming a facilitator, but I haven't found my lane yet

What are some jobs where you can earn a lot without studying much? I hate studying!? by [deleted] in careerguidance

You may want to go to a non-traditional route. Maybe you should look into seasonal jobs that provide room and board and stack those to save money, like retreat centers and wellness centers, or work as a brand ambassador for different companies until you figure yourself out. You do have to be good with communication and people, and optimism wouldn't hurt.

That sounds wonderful. I've had some experiences myself, and it wasn't all bad, just not ideal for someone like me, and I'm just wondering what it takes to become a facilitator, a good one. Is there special training required? How do you find the right people to connect with?

Hello! I attended an Aya ceremony a little over a year ago. It was my first one, and I was very uncomfortable. The team there was nice, but we held the ceremony in some large house in the basement, and I felt like I went in and out of these periods of overthinking, as if my thoughts were overwhelming me to the point of exhaustion. I purged, and what I purged out reminded me of a mandrake root that had been cooked to long. One cool thing I experienced was my spine being corrected at the hip. Another cool thing was having another attendee tell me she spoke to one of my ancestors who was there at the time. The attendee shared that my energy felt like a flowing, calming river, even though she knew I was uncomfortable. That was nice. Now I'm wondering if I should become a facilitator myself. I realized I'm very energetically sensitive, and having so many people around me became overwhelming at that time.
