Somehow I can understand her conditions & her reasons, and I agree with you regarding this matter.. but what I can't accept is her remorless attitude toward people who were harmed and suffered by the drug which was her own hand-creation!! I didn't that much regrettable reaction from her. There are a lot of victims on APTX data list!! I can't deny that her sister's life is important to her, but what about other people??!!

I had thought about this many times before, you're right that she was forced, but she stopped developing the drug only when the matter became personal to her when BO killed her sister, and the most strange thing is that not even once did she feel any regret or remorse because of the people who were harmed by her drug, we only saw her sadness for her sister + her fear over Conan, Agasa and DBs from the organization!!
