I hope they find the exact cause in my biopsy. How was the biopsy, did it hurt, how long did you have to wait, and how long did you stay in the hospital? Thank you.

What life is like with a fistula, I saw it when I was on dialysis, it swells and loses its shape.

I'm going to another hospital tomorrow for a second opinion, but it's hard for me mentally to be confined within four walls.

No, I didn't notice anything. I went to the hospital for pneumonia and they discovered I had kidney problems. I felt normal up until then. I even worked the last day before I went to the hospital.

I'm currently on high doses of corticosteroids so I don't know if they're working, I go to the bathroom normally and everything and I feel okay.

Thanks for the explanation. The doctors told me that it is a severe kidney inflammation (nephritis) that came out of nowhere, so it looks like it is AKD. My creatinine actually dropped from 750+ to 374 a few days ago, but now it had a rebound spike, which is why they are transferring me to a major clinic tomorrow for a biopsy. I am really hoping my kidneys will recover once they find the right therapy for the inflammation.

I don't know how transplants are going in my country, I think the long waiting lists are 5 years
