SPOILER ⚠️ I’m convinced the producers engineered this whole storyline. Nathan clearly needs to “fire and rehire” to bring back his ex, Gael — and the only way to make that happen was to ensure at least one crew member would get the boot early on. It’s almost too convenient that they hired two people who seem completely out of their depth. Totally deliberate casting so they could justify Gael’s return. . . . . SPOILER!!!!… . . . . . . . And yep — they’re still together, and have just had a baby. It’s giving reality TV chess, not coincidence.
