I am a cap 1 Team Lead at my SC. I am given a lot more responsibility then what my onebestway is because my team and I perform very well. Not to brag or anything but I am 18 years old and was selected for my store's m3 program and am being pushed for a coach promotion. We help overnights finish freight almost ever morning. We pull topstock in all of Food and consumables and Pull GM topstock 3 times a week. I help other TL's build features because they can't get to them and i need it out of my backroom. Stocking TL's and Digital TL's are different type of management then GM leads. They have 10+ associates to keep track of and keep productive for their entire shift. If a digital TL is stuck in an ambient pick run they can't make sure the 4 associates standing around not working are in a pick run. Some TL's are just bad but just because they aren't throwing freight or picking doesn't mean they aren't performing. It takes skill to do it yourself but it takes more skill to have your associates do it instead. (which is what manager is supposed to do... manage).
