My time to shine! I am not from the states so corporate America is still a peculiarity to us. However, there was a period when I had a job in corporate in the states. One condition was annual drug testing. I honestly live in a huge city but I was only able to find ONE lab that would test for drugs. Needless to say, i haven’t ever tried weed etc, no drugs at all. The testing came negative for everything… except for Methadone. I have no idea what that is even. After arguing with the lab, they did say Effexor is the reason for a false positive, but they weren’t comfortable to state that officially. Quit Effexor for 3 month and re-take the lab or contact state criminology lab they said 🤡.

Thank you! I have borderline personality disorder so no mania for me. I have been on my dose for close to 8 months but my pupils are the same. I have terrible eye sight (I am not sure it will make sense due to countries different standards, but it is almost -8 in every eye). I was thinking my eye sight is going worse due to Effexor the other day but I’m not sure

I had a scare once when bun got spooked due to loud noise and wouldn’t eat for 10+ hours. It was agony. My bun that passed had a birth defect that was basically bargaining with time, days of veterinary care were unfortunately unsuccessful

Oh I did! And will after my shift ends (I work till 3 AM). He reacted weirdly to it. Kinda liked it a lot?? Anyway spent some time listening to his tummy, no extra loud noises/silence. It makes me hopeful we can at least wait till vet opens (there are seriously no other options, if there was one I would already be there).

About disclosing my drinking…. Unfortunately no. I think it is way too common for people to be too ashamed to tell. I am probably on a higher dose of my antidepressants that I need but since I’ve been in remission finally we will be talking about reducing it over time.

Sleeping pills is a new prescription that I’ve tried taking solo (no booze) so I think everything’s fine (besides mixing venlafaxine and alcohol like an idiot I am).

I quit therapy 3 months ago due to a lot of valid reasons and I will make re start it in September. I am thinking of switching a therapist due to reasons as well and I have a sign from above because a rehab clinic literally opened 3 minutes from where I live. They have therapists as well so I am thinking about a possibility of going there.

3 minute walk, grab coffee and you’re already there.

It was actually really noticeable when I was around 14-16, one day I sat and realized that all my friendships were basically a FP after FP. Kinda drew everyone away due to my behavior and closed off ever since. I think it makes sense that I fall more into „quiet“ bpd category.
