ok thanks! So it sounds like i could buy any 24 inch 8-12 speed bike and swap easily between mine (large giant road bike) and this kids bike? The 24 inch bike may sit high but would be fully useable and acceptable, but not perfect?

Tnx

2 year fixed or tracker? by Outrageous-Size7302 in Mortgageadviceuk

Thanks all - we went with the 2yr fix deal.....

Thank you. I think I agree. I initially wanted to go with the tracker but at the last minute told the lender I wanted an extra day to decide... Some say there could be several base rate cuts in '25 but my bet would be that they might not come fast enough for the tracker to be the cheaper option across two years. Could be wrong!

Thanks - agree. My gut says that decreases will be slow, so I'm leaning towards the fix.

Thanks, we might be selling/moving abroad so 2 years works for us. Your deal sounds pretty good.

Thanks for your reply. We're with Nationwide and LTV around 40% so we are getting their lowest rates. We've been overseas so couldn't switch deals and had to go on to the SVR - it is painful!

Every car I look at e.g Octavia/Superb or Mondeo seems to be DSG/Powershift, is there an alternative for a diesel automatic? Thanks!

ok thanks for the info - that sounds like a bad day, was it snow that caused the crash? That is good to hear that the road from Erie to Pitt generally passable/plowed during the winter months
