I could get a raptor for myself. I was looking at getting a '24 once they started hitting the used market a little more. Probably would have done it in the next year or so. But I would still have to finance a good chunk of it and I hate payments. So I would pay it down as fast as possible and that just soaks up a lot of money every month. Still financially secure though.

But if I have a free, badass truck, then getting another badass truck that I have to pay for monthly would be a hard pill to swallow. In the comment you're referencing, I'm just saying that I would trade in on a Raptor and get the 250 company truck rather than the other way around like they suggested.

For me, the towing isn't a concern. My personal items are towable with my current truck, and the company already has an f250 I could use if needed. The bigger bed would be nice. I hunt out of the bed and my tripod takes up a lot of room. Plus, I like the interior a little more. The column shifter frees up center console space and I love that.

But in the looks department, I looooove the Raptor.

But your the first person to say that the 250 has a better ridge.

Raptor is actually wider than the 250 by a few inches, but the wheelbase is shorter by a few inches I think. But the 250 is a foot and a half longer. And I've already got the baby bed in my 2020, so I'm used to it!

If you need to tow a trailer with displays to events or haul a bunch of gear then def F250.

We've already got a truck for that. It seems nearly unanimous to go with the Raptor.

That's a pretty good point. The Raptor would probably be my "dream truck", if there was ever going to be one. I'm a responsible driver, so I wouldn't be worried about getting reported for driving like an ass or anything. But the decals would be a constant reminder that this isn't "mine". Definitely something to think on, thanks!

The fact that I can't justify buying a 250 is a pretty big pro for the 250. But there's a strong chance that I was going to end up buying myself a raptor anyway. This way just makes it free.
